Leicester now looking over their shoulders at teams bunching up behind them in the table. They blew a champs league spot last season with a poor late run of league form, won’t want the same thing to happen again this season. Securing top 4 spot surely more of a priority for them than the FA Cup (he says hopefully)?

From where Spurs were under Poch, they are light years away now.

I never understood why they got rid of him. Mourinho has had his day and he needs to stop fooling clubs that he has any relevance anymore.

Yep and Harry will be off in the summer

Kane and Son would be mental to stay there, they need to get out and fulfil their careers.

Spurs will just add further plodders like Hojbjerg to complete their regression to Arsenal levels.

Bale needs to leave too.  I heard a rumour he's bored as a winger anyway and would prefer to see his career out as a full back, if only he could find a suitable vacancy.

I think he's bored with football tbh, he needs to retire really and stick to golf. He's lost every inch of interest in the sport, you can tell.

If you were a Spurs fan, losing Kane and replacing with Ings, plus bringing in Vestergaard hardly screams top 4.

He was also MotM. Ralph must be monitoring his progress closely and surely will want to take a good look at him during the summer. I agree he has become a key player at Celtic and no doubt they will want to hang onto him. Could be interesting. Main question is would he want to come back here after all the abuse he has suffered at the hands of many fans?

Has he directly suffered any 'abuse' from fans or has it just been on message boards ?

Think today's result might have edged Jose closer to the exit door. Perhaps the League Cup v City will be 'shit or bust' for him.

Poor Mr Levy having to fork out on compensation for Mourinho's contract.

Bet there's some fans on their forum who want them to lose the League cup final so it makes it more likely he gets sacked.

Results this weekend look to have put a stop to our dreams of finishing in the top 11, all about the battle for 12th now, between us, Wolves and Palace.

Relegation looks decided, title long done, SKY will need to hype up the battle for top 4. Hope Leicester miss out again.

We’ve also avoid the humiliation of finishing bottom as Sheffield United can’t finish above us now. Hopefully this will give the lads a shot in the arm needed before our six pointer tomorrow at the Hawthorns.

Fulham’s survival special looks well and truly on after Newcastle’s victory today!! #Spazweb

People were saying that they might stay up after they hit a bit of form and then beat Liverpool. No one at all on here was predicting them losing the next 5 in a row.

Poor effort. When they lose 6 league games in a row after beating Liverpool then they are as special as us.

that Son dive is a joke. For a bloke who has done Military Service, North Korea might as well just invade if they go down like that.

Yes, flinging himself to the ground was ridiculous but for anybody to claim that it was accidental is equally as ridiculous. McTominay makes a separate distinct movement with his forearm and flicks his hand into Son’s face. If the referee had blown up there and then and cautioned McTominay nobody could have complained.

Edit: Wasn’t McTominay already on a yellow and therefore would have been sent off? Seems fair and just to me.

Don't think they can use VAR for yellow cards, I might be wrong though.

Depends like Leeds Saturday was initially yellow but tackle deemed to be reckless so upped to red.

I honestly have no idea anymore what is and isn’t as it is a lottery depending who is sat watching Var. It’s not being used for what was designed for.

Thats because they were reviewing a possible red card, they wouldnt have rescinded the yellow card had it not been a foul, (I think) But you're right, its stupidly confusing.

It's worse than that.

Somewhere in amongst the Mourinho Thread they're saying the payoff is £30M for him and a whole bunch of them are slating Levy for not paying it to get him gone.

Their fans are the biggest bunch of helmets in the league, what are they expecting? Take Son & Kane out of that team and they're Everton.

You’re right. My point was that if the referee thought of stopping the game to award a foul against McTominay then he would also have had to caution him for a second time and send him off. Of course this should never affect your decisions but I imagine that he didn’t think it woulda to a goal.
