Yesterday, we also won on BT Sport. I’d suspect that BBC will go for City vs Chelsea, meaning we might just be on BT Sport again. It’s our year So Saturday on BT Sport. Feels winnable already.

East Kent Saint Posted 24 March, 2021 Posted 24 March, 2021 Depends what they are getting up to behind closed doors , or was that your point ?
JustinSFC Posted 29 March, 2021 Posted 29 March, 2021 Bit of a debate going on about the latest England U21 defeat and the selection by Boothroyd, was going to say how bad Ramsdales goalkeeping is in the league then I realised he's actually got a better record than we have by 1 goal and his team have been rank bottom the entire season. 😅

Absolutely none at all.

We should have dropped McCarthy way before we did, I know Forster isn't a fan favourite, but to me we've looked a LOT better with him in goal.

S-Clarke Posted 3 April, 2021 Posted 3 April, 2021 2-5! Great effort by West Brom. Still a minuscule chance of staying up, but at least they have something positive to remember from this season.

Something to do with Jose Fonte's Lille (TM) going top of Ligue 1.

Many teams can get hit for 5, it happens pretty often. 9 however (4 more goals, just think about that), it takes a very shit team for that to happen to.

It is screwing over Man City, not Leicester.

Refs have no hesitation to send our players off (usually correctly) but other teams seem to get away with yellows. Some of the goals chalked off for offside too. Drawing lines until they somehow have us off. One week Ing's black arm band, the next Adam's wrist. Anyway, I know you want to do your usual arguing but this is the last I will say about this. Sorry.
Nordic Saint Posted 3 April, 2021 Posted 3 April, 2021 Just watched dirty, cheating Leicester lose to Man City. They really are the worst team in the league for utilising the full array of 'dark arts'. It must be part of their training. What an obnoxious character Maddison is. He's one of the worst culprits. I want us to beat them even more now but we're going to need a very good refereee to avoid getting injuries and red cards. 1

In the grand scheme of things, we’re a insignificant middling club, why on Earth would referees have an agenda against us?
Lord Duckhunter Posted 3 April, 2021 Posted 3 April, 2021 Arsenal have been woeful, but the Arteta love in continues on sky.
Ex Lion Tamer Posted 3 April, 2021 Posted 3 April, 2021 I'd say that Saints losing 9-0 to Man Utd having had a player sent off in the 2nd minute is about equivalent to Chelsea losing 5-2 to West Brom after having a player sent off in the 29th minute, given the relative quality of the teams. I also think the Chelsea game is further proof that teams which rely on a pressing game seem unable to function when they go down to 10 men 2

Got a free kick from a dangerous position when nobody touched him and went down with a delayed reaction as though he'd been hit with a sledgehammer when someone slightly cuffed the back of his head. He also expected a free kick every time he lost the ball. 1

Free kick in the first half just outside the penalty area he wasn't even touched. Handbags incident he felt a cuff on the back of the head, there was a moment of delay, then he threw himself to the ground clutching his head as though a sniper had shot him - obviously trying to get the player sent off. Also moaned to the ref every time he lost the ball. Great player but wants it all his own way.
