I see Josh King is on the bench tonight for Everton.

Was he signed before the midday cutoff?
Otherwise how is he allowed on the bench yet we couldn’t have Minamino? Just because we played Tuesday and they play tonight?

Mind you- not that it would have made much difference to the affairs last night

Another example of a fringe top six Prem club player looking a level above tonight in a reputably mid-table side in Lingard, but would not have predicted that!

Liverpool lose again!

Liverpool surrendering their title quite meekly this season. Another poor home result.

Fair play to Brighton for sticking with Potter during their bad patch. 9 games without a win but he's turned it around. Just goes to show that teams can pull themselves out of a slump, much like we will do when we have players back from injury.

I assume the cutoff just applies to the next day's games rather than the whole gameweek?

Excellent performance from Brighton tonight. Beat Liverpool if anything more convincingly than we did. They have the muscle and grit that we could do with. And Trossard and Maupay are a handful. Formation worked. Guess they are luckier with injuries at the moment

Mike Dean looking at a possible red card in the west ham game. On the monitor. He’s a disgrace to football. Absolute joke.

Outstanding. I was hoping for two things from today, a win and Mike to thrust himself further into the spot light. Made me wait a bit, but that is a nice runners up prize. He has just ramped the temp up more, and now our decisions might well get a mention as used in evidence against him.

The bottom 3 really do look cut adrift. It's going to take some work for any of those sides to stay up now. I'd be amazed if you need any more than 34 points to be safe this year.

Staggering performance from the bottom 3 this season. Normally you have 1 team drop off, but the three have 7 wins from 65ish games. Guess the quality of the next lot up is a bit higher this year, but relegation could decided with a few games to spare, which would be mad.

So, Fabinho leaves trailing leg and Sterling goes over. Penalty. Absolutely no discussion about a possible red card. Yesterday, Mike Dean sees someone move and gives them a red card. Game's gone mad

Typical Salah conning the ref , despite what Klippity keeps telling us , Anfield or Old Trafford always the same bias after all these years.

Arms thrown up in the air rather than down to break his fall as is natural.

There’s the experience on for Liverpool.. Milner and shaquiri .. took Thiago off and rightly so .. IMO he slows Liverpool’s play down not suited to the front 3 direct play .. hope city get the winner

Ha-ha Alison catches a case of the McCartheys 🤪

And again. Maybe he should just launch it upfield. Wouldn't have happened if they'd had Fraser Forster in goal.

I’d be absolutely livid if one of ours hadn’t gone down like that in the same situation.

Leeds play that high press game much better than us (at the moment). It helps when you have someone like Raphinia who is happy to run and take players on.

Will be an interesting game when we play them in a few weeks, they certainly give you chances, so the score is anyone's guess.

Palace are a true reflection of dross though. Nowhere team.

Shame our one of those deploys the parachute, pulls on the hand brake effecting an excellent 180° and heads in the other direction.

They won’t be selling too many DVDs of this game.

They could sell one to Ralph as proof that you can defend quite competently and comfortably for long periods at Old Trafford in spite of injuries and being a man light (West Ham had to drag off some poor kid who'd come on an hour earlier and didn't touch the ball).

See Sky Sports News are forcing women’s football on us.

Brighton are beating West Ham. Games gone!

Would you go as far as to say it’s political correctness gone mad, sir?

They are worse than the BBC now. Obviously gives them more shite to fill their airtime. What with Jim White earnestly being sickened by tweets from dysfunctional teenagers they have struck it rich for bs content.

completely without evidence but Jim White strikes me as Richard Keys Andy Gray type and not surprised if there was off air recording of a foul mouthed racist tirade.
