Not sure how this one is going to pan out, just hope that Chey gets off to a flyer which will give him confidence for the rest of the season, will take some of the pressure off of Danny as well.

Optimistically 0 - 2 Saints - a brace for Chey.

It's Ché Adams--as in Che Guevara.

Smallbone for Armstrong will considerably weaken our midfield. Would rather see Shane Long involved.

Yes, he's a step down but Smallbone looked competent at the end of last season. I'm hoping he's going to be a riding star this season.

See we have Jonathan Moss on the whistle for this one, hope he's had a good pre season.

Just looked and a whole heap of our whistle blowing favourites are hitting 50 this year - Moss, Mariner, Friend, Atkinson, Skate Boy Mason has to wait another year, and good ol Mike 'look at me' Dean is the Daddy of the Blind, illegitimate, literate, chaps that officiate the games at 52 - retirement age use to be officially 48 but EU employment law removed that, so long as you can meet the fitness requirements you can crack on until you break or the assessors say you are crap.  Apparently from something I read  Dean, Atkinson, and Oliver are on £200k a year, most of the rest on £70k with £1500 per game appearance money.

Blokes only made 5 starts, has made an impact in most games he's played and is only 23, haven't we learnt from Harrison Reed?

It's Sims who needs to learn from Harrison Reed. Both decent enough, neither good enough to start for us, both need permanent moves away to get settled and a career going. Judging Sims on just his games for us and not his under whelming performances on loan isn't wise for us or him. He'll be working on move away by the end of the window.

He wouldn't be a starter. He'd be behind Redmond, Armstrong and Djenepo.

Yes. That's my point. He's 23. He needs to leave.

And replaced with who? Who do you suggest we would sign as a fourth choice winger who would make as much impact as he has proven he can make whilst being happy to be fourth choice winger?

Hope we can carry on the momentum from the last games of last season into this one. I'm confident we can - 2-0 to us with Ings getting both :) COYR

Haven’t been keeping up with the news lately. What’s up with Salisu? No on the bench, is he injured/ineligible?

OS said something about "not yet fit enough".  Lol, hope he knows what he's getting in to...

Bench looks quite light, interesting to see if tella comes on. Reckon we'll win this though, hoping for a strong start from Che.

Very true we are missing Armstrong and the new CB but we look to be short of a couple of decent players
