Second and Third round draw is due to start in about 45 minutes on sky after Brentford vs Wycombe. Unusually due to the pandemic they will be drawing both rounds one after the other to allow clubs and broadcasters to forward plan ASAP.

Skates at home is my obvious choice for the second round.

Also incidentally how have Brentford managed to build a new ground that looks dated already!?

It'll be interesting to see what sort of team Brentford field, at the moment it's a very tricky team. The 'mass exodus' that most predicted hasn't happened yet, so they still have a frightening array of Premier League level attackers IMO.

Given potential fixture congestion (rounds 2/3/4 are being played over the first three mid-weeks of the season) I can see mass rotation from both teams.

They didn't pick Ollie Watkins or Said Benrahma for today's first round game against Wycombe on the basis that they're expecting them both to leave so it's fairly pointless trying to work on a system when they're not likely to be a part of the team in the coming weeks. Anyone else who missed out today was on international duty.

Be typical wouldn’t it. Just imagine Harrogate v Saints at Wetherby road. Packed capacity crowd with the Wetherby Road Kop making Frazer Forster go to pieces, saints fans giving it “just a small town near Guisley” the Harrogate Chaos Crew giving it’s throat slit gestures to the Saints yoof from 50 yards away, saints yoof armed with scones and fat rascals for the scary walk across the stray back to the station. If anything they looked to need to regain match practice and fitness yesterday rather than needing a rest. But I expect some of the above will get a run out.

Brentford in a similar situation too, having had a disappointing defeat yesterday at Birmingham. They were also pretty underwhelming - albeit with a weakened XI due to international call-ups - last week against Wycombe in the first round. I don't see it being a thriller
