stevegrant Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Preston are, once again, bringing a team down for a game on 21st February. Pitch is booked at Fleming Park, 10.30am kick-off. Who's available?
Summers Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I'm in, and off from work already, Ming bats on the Friday night?
stevegrant Posted 23 January, 2009 Author Posted 23 January, 2009 Yeah man, do you want me to ask ben? Yes please. Feel free to ask the usual RVT lot as well - the more the merrier.
Jimbo Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I might be heading down that way visiting relos in feb - might see if I can time it at the same time
B Rabbit Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 I might be heading down that way visiting relos in feb - might see if I can time it at the same time You are northern
Summers Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 I need to buy a new broken record, Pete's is boring me now...
The9 Posted 30 January, 2009 Posted 30 January, 2009 Yeah, just so I can play one 11-a-side match this year !?!?!? (That's "year", Rabbit)
Minty Posted 15 February, 2009 Posted 15 February, 2009 Rob, Jouls, Luke, Ben, and I are all available I believe. The first 3 may not want to play a full game as they have a game the following day. Ben doesn't seem to care as he's also playing Sat pm AND Sun am... I can do the full thing as I'm not playing Sunday. There may be others from RVT. What's the squad looking like?
Summers Posted 15 February, 2009 Posted 15 February, 2009 Well, I'm in, going to sort out my train tickets tomorrow. Anyone up for Friday night drinks?
prideofthesouth Posted 15 February, 2009 Posted 15 February, 2009 Doubt i will play, can ref if needed. Will come to watch anyway
magnet Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 John Richardson (old cyber Saint) says he'll do a half. Might be able to get Seph to play to if needed.
Summers Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Aj's also said he can play, Not entirely sure on Juddy's stance as of yet cos he might have to work saturday, but both can play (right and centre) at the back and mid.
stevegrant Posted 19 February, 2009 Author Posted 19 February, 2009 Squad so far, off the top of my head: Andy Mintram Chris Knight Chris Summers Kev Thornton (yes, really  ) Rob Healey Scott Griffin Jouls Ganley Ben Rankin Steve Grant Also, Rob reckons Damon and Luke (don't think I know him) will be there, as well as a few other RVT players who might only play a half. You'll notice one slight problem in that list. Summers is the only potential keeper...
B Rabbit Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 Stuart Holloway can probably play for 20 minutes.... I can get Jordan to play if we are short....
magnet Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 Lukey went in goal for us last time so I can ask him.
magnet Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 (edited) Have two more players Phil and Seph. Rabbit bring Jordan along as RVT boys only want to do a half! Edited 19 February, 2009 by magnet
Minty Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 My knee still hasn't settled down since last week. I'm confident it'll be ok but hopefully we'll have at least one sub just in case?!
Summers Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 I wouldn't have minded going in goal..Prefer playing on pitch though..I'll give Adam a buzz (one of my mates), He can play RB, CM and RM, so i'll see if he's available, good player too.
Summers Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 Adam'll come down. He can play RB and CM, my mistake about the RM.
B Rabbit Posted 20 February, 2009 Posted 20 February, 2009 Sounds like we have a squad of about 15 now?!
stevegrant Posted 20 February, 2009 Author Posted 20 February, 2009 Sounds like we have a squad of about 15 now?! Something like that, but bear in mind that a few only want to play a half.
B Rabbit Posted 20 February, 2009 Posted 20 February, 2009 Something like that, but bear in mind that a few only want to play a half. That's how these games are anyway isn't it? rolling subs and all.... Stuart Holloway will not play now as he is pussy.....
magnet Posted 20 February, 2009 Posted 20 February, 2009 need a massively immobile ref? Having any type of ref would be good!!
B Rabbit Posted 20 February, 2009 Posted 20 February, 2009 My good friend Stuart Holloway will be the referee
prideofthesouth Posted 20 February, 2009 Posted 20 February, 2009 Although i need a whistle and a referee kit! otherwise i will wear something bright yellow like Stephens car
prideofthesouth Posted 20 February, 2009 Posted 20 February, 2009 I have a dodgy knee. But no whistle.
prideofthesouth Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 7-3 oh dear, i tried my best to get them into double figures!
