two really positive signings btw. Chuffed with both... and I still don't rate Adams ;)

Promising signing but get a bit excited from JV and Hoedt joining the club and reviews they had.

Fingers crossed he can make the jump from La Liga to the EPL. Last decent player we signed from there that succeeded at Saints?

Using the basic math......thats Hojbjerg's fee spent on both our signings so far. Way we operate :)

JV had genuine calibre from his BMG time. In fact, I'll own up to thinking it was an excellent signing as I watch the Bundesliga and he was rock solid.

As for Hoedt, I've always said I reckon we went to Lazio to buy Stefan de Vrij and came back with the wrong Dutchman. Hoedt couldn't even get a game for Lazio at that stage.

JV never lifted himself off the ground, was slow and had the turning circle of a barge. He never looked suitable to me, although my judgement is questionable - I'm embarrassed to say that I thought Hoedt looked a great prospect!

Most importantly, the lyrics aren't too complex so there might be a chance of it catching on at SMS.

Genuine question:

As we have triggered his release clause to buy him, can Real Valladolid still insert a sell on clause in the deal, or will all profit, assuming there is profit, be for Saints ???

Not sure how well it researched our current options though:

No,  one of Stephens weak points is his positional sense and awareness,  that would be a major flaw in cdm role

It's all a deliberate ploy from Steve. He is paid on hits not connections, if you're trying 15 times to get on the site when usually it's only once he still gets paid out on the 15, which he needs as i've just put my rates up due to a counter offer from Sotonians.

Question:

Why haven't there been any official photos of Salisu published yet? Even if he's training on his own, why no photoshoot? In days gone by, we'd have been inudated with new signing photos. Maybe they've been waiting for the kit sponsor debacle to be sorted before snapping him all kitted out? Surely if the club have got time to come up with a glossy "oops, new sponsor" video then they've got time to take a few photos of our new signing, even if that's only some photos of him "doing fitness training away from the squad"?
