Fair play 👍

He was very excited when they decided it was going to be at St Mary's even though he's not a Saints fan.

Some very decent play in the first half. Really like the look of Chalk in midfield and Olaigbe is a handful. Lots of technical play on show, quick passing, good movement. Enjoyable to watch.

3-0, great goal by Chalk. He looks some player.

Have seen a fair few people raving about him in social media land over the last few months. An outside bet for a place on the first team bench sometime this season perhaps?

Who else has impressed?

Bellis definitely has something about him, although finishing has let him down.

Carson at LB, great technique, good dead balls too. Olaigbe direct and skillful.

Can't say much about CB's as not troubled. Keeper doesn't have great feet, looks awkward. Not had any real saves to make.

Maybe. He has a lot of positives, so comfortable on the ball in the middle of the park, always seems to have time to do what he wants. Everything comes through him, plays well on the turn just like Ralph likes his CM's to do. Tidy passer. Maybe a bit slight still for men's football but plenty of time to bulk up a little.

Obviously have to remember the standard of opposition when judging a player. Coventry maybe a little light in midfield and mostly chasing shadows. They have a decent CB, keeper and one striker looks very lively on the ball.

Very competent performance against a rather poor side. Bloody cold and miserably wet out there so hats off to the boys.

No doubt Ralph would have been watching from the comfort of the Saints Box. Hope he liked what he saw.

Good to see Chauke on the bench.

Who knows, Slattery may also be on the bench tomorrow replacing Tella???

Can't see Slattery and Diallo making the same bench (similar players?). Maybe 'just in case' back up

From what I see from Tella he doesn't seem the captain type. (based on 10 mins sub appearances) 😄

Care to expand?

Slattery went off injured in the last game.
