spyinthesky Posted January 24 Posted January 24 2-0 up at HT. Saints playing really well. Young lad in goal looks good. Robinson and Amo Ameyaw look particularly impressive but good displays all round. Hope I have not hexxed it by my comments

spyinthesky Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Well I really enjoyed that, despite the adverts. Not sure how strong the Chelsea team was but our U21's really deserved the win. We had three golden opportunities to win the game and hit the woodwork three times versus Chelsea's two. Lots of decent football, a mixture between RussBall and longer passes. Good energy and a lot of good individual performances. Well done the youngsters. 5

Harry_SFC Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Just now, Master Bates said: Great run of form. Does anyone know if the Under 21s played Russball whilst he was in charge of the first team? Because the results have picked up since. Just wondering if it's a coincidence or not.

Master Bates Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Sorry for not posting updates or recording the goals and putting them up, couldn't be arsed having to wait for links to eventually go up.

disconnect Posted February 11 Posted February 11 A weakened(?) under 21 side (mostly the under 18s?) beat Maidenhead 6-0 tonight in the National League cup. Interestingly Victor Udoh played the first hour.

Tommy Mulgrew Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Some rare sightings in the latest u21 game: Southampton: McNamara, Payne, Fry, Moore (Abu 64), Kayi Sanda, Bragg (c), Robinson, Sesay, Stewart (Dipepa 45'), Udoh (Charles 79'), Larios (Akachukwu 45) https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/u21-report-saints-3-3-sunderland 1
