Saints 'B' Team

Just watched the highlights - Charlie McCann who scored twice for Utd, two great finishes setup by a good first touch and firing it into the corner.

Compared unfortunately with Smith for us who had two absolutely golden chances and fluffed his lines both times.

One of those players will have a successful pro career.

(Saints keeper Bycroft, one absolute howler aside, made several good saves).

Am I right in thinking Ramsay, Watts and Ferry all were left out today? That, along with Jankewitz, N'Lundulu & Chauke who were also missing presumably for first team duties, means that of the 16 outfield players listed on the OS, 6 of the most senior ones were all out, plus Robise has left. 5-1 still a bad result, but looked a young team out again.

My main query is whether it'd be better for say Watts, Ferry, Chauke etc to be playing some actual competitive football, than simply making up the numbers on the bench, seeing as it's looked unlikely that Ralph is going to use them much if at all?

U18's absolutely battered 6-0 by Fulham.

Fulham had 29 shots.  We had 1 (!)

This is getting incredibly concerning now. We simply don't have the players to play this style, if they're doing the same as the first time in terms of the high line/high press?

The club has imploded at all levels.

The U18’s current don’t play the same style.

Totally agree their results are concerning...

Still no mention of Hardyman recently.
