Saints 2019-20 Premier League away campaign came to a finish with yet another win!

Only this season’s Champions have claimed more points on the road than us - as we've ended with a record top-flight haul of 31 (which includes 9 wins!).

TSP124 sees the regular panel - and Dan Sheldon (Daily Echo) - look back on another successful ‘day at the office’ (/emotional roller coaster!) for Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men.

The Pod ends with Dan discussing the latest on Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg (23:00), and a preview of the final Premier League fixture of the season for Saints – at home to Sheffield United (27:45).

I heard that this morning and ruined the start of my week. I just hope they can find somebody to do the producing to keep it going.

Out of interest have you not considered making this subscription based or having additional content for Patreon customers (perhaps interviews with ex players, which you’ve previously included in free pods Or even episodes with journalists like dan & Carl anka for example giving a little more info about the club off the pitch (transfers, contracts, take overs etc.), assuming they’re happy to do that). I for 1 would happily pay a monthly sub if it meant keeping the pod going. 

appreciate the admin is time consuming and a strain on the family life, but a bit of extra £ in the back pocket to take the family away at the end of the season might help! 
 

There are some awful Saints pods out there, but you guys have nailed it. It’ll be a shame to see it go (apart from we’ve seemingly gone down hill on the pitch since your pods started)

It may sound odd to have worked so hard on something for 3 years.....and then just knock it on the head - but I need to take a break from it as, despite being incredibly proud of the product we now have, its become all consuming unfortunately.

Its never been about the money (albeit we've been incredibly lucky to have our technology, hosting costs etc. covered by our patrons). More the fact that myself, Steve, others love talking about Saints and, where possible, have enjoyed trying to promote an unfashionable football club to anyone who'll listen to us!

Its been a great ride - but its time to take a rest.

P.S - at least we've left the team back in mid-table again! 😉

Selfish lol . Im sure it is all consuming and really appreciate the show, it will leave a hole during the season but I respect your decision.... Im not sure were that unfashionable you meet lots of Saints fans all over the world. Many not from our home city. Im not saying that we have a fanbase like the top 8 or 10 clubs but.....

Echo the views on this thread. Think that the pod has been really professional the last couple of seasons and I've really enjoyed the analysis, interviews with players, ex-players and the 'Total Recall' feature. It's clear that a lot of effort goes into organising and producing the pod - hope someone else can pick up the reins and shoulders some of the heavy lifting. Thanks Ben and team!
