Matthew Le God Posted 17 July, 2020 Share Posted 17 July, 2020 (edited) The Premier League website thinks we signed a 45 year old goalkeeper - on loan from Liverpool (who he left in 1996) https://www.premierleague.com/players/913/Michael-Stensgaard/overview He was at Saints in 1998/99 as the backup for Paul Jones. Behind Enemy Lines Posted 17 July, 2020 Share Posted 17 July, 2020 He’s old, full up and guaranteed not to get better. Welcome aboard Ralf’s Express 😂😂😂
Saint_clark Posted 17 July, 2020 Share Posted 17 July, 2020 Bit of experience in an otherwise youthful set up. Welcome aboard. In all seriousness, is it possible we've hired him as a coach and some intern at the Premier Leagues website department has got crossed wires? I doubt it, the club would announce him signing as a coach. He doesn't have a history of coaching since his retirement 19 years ago, he moved into business and is a registered agent. They've got him as on loan from Liverpool and Liverpool wasn't even his last club before retiring. He a backup keeper to Paul Jones at Saints in the 1998/99 season. He did, but judging from the social media coverage, including his own, whilst with us it seemed it was reserved for nocturnal activities with'Disco Dollies' in nightclubs. The Premier league website doesn't think it. A website doesn't think. A website is a collection of publicly accessible, interlinked Web pages that share a single domain name. Websites can be created and maintained by an individual, group, business or organization to serve a variety of purposes. Together, all publicly accessible websites constitute the World Wide Web.
