Good on them. Would be nice if they raise a decent amount.

Normally I would assume that this was a sarcastic response.  Given that it's you, I suspect you genuinely believe that Gary and Rylan will be getting together to sue thousands of right wing twitter users.  I don't have a twitter account but do they have some kind of flag on them on something to identify which ones are the 'right wing' ones, just to make sure they don't accidently include a 'left wing' one in their sue-ing frenzy 🤣🤣🤣

I have been trying to work out the BBC personality, now that Gary Linekar and Rylan Clarke have ruled themselves out.

I have a picture, can anyone help?

That doesn't look too different to the person who I think it is.

Mate that is incredible bad luck to have been interfered with by all 4. Hope the therapy is working out

Given that one main name is all over social media I am surprised that our resident Twitter surfer and Nonce Finder General has not outed him yet.

There's nothing on Twitter except idle speculation.

Yesterday morning Twitter divs had all decided it was Jeremy Vine.

A well known male presenter on six figures that the mum immediately recognised and really enjoyed watching (so likely entertainment.) If you go down the list there's only a handful that would really apply to and some of them have already ruled themselves out.

Well yes but when it inevitably comes out they will look a bit foolish and will get more stick so I'm inclined to believe them. There's a couple that are notable because they haven't made any denials as yet. One is more obvious than the others in my opinion.

Given the number of people within the Beeb who must know who it is, plus presumably the Sun, I am surprised it hasn't leaked out. It won't take long for it to be noticed if it is a 'well known presenter' when he fails to appear on telly.

There's been one name mentioned more than others. I asked my mate who's a bbc producer and he hasn't been told so I don't think it's everywhere. Should know this week for sure.

Who gives a shit how they vote, if it raises money for good causes it doesn’t matter where the money comes from. If someone is accusing you of something you didn’t do you would want to sue them regardless of their politics.

And who are "they" exactly?

Do you have to prove your name and address when you create a twitter account? If not, how do they sue them?

Unless you can take @purpleheadedstrangler69 and similar weird accounts to court?

God knows, I never said they would be successful, just that it would be nice if they were.

You should try reading, porky.

Wow, that's a fast volte face even for you.

Your statement "would be nice if they raised a decent amount" suggested you believed without doubt they would be successful, it's just the award amount that needed to be determined.

No it suggested I wanted them to be successful, nothing else. It’s obviously going to be hard to sue Twitter users.

No, you stated that you wanted them to 'raise a decent amount' - suggesting that victory was already in the bag.

At no point have you mentioned the impossibility of sueing twitter users - until I pointed it out to you....

 If you say so Porky.

It would be nice if they raised a decent amount of cash for charity.

It would be nice if Saints won the league next year.

It would be nice if I got a tug-job off Anna Kendrick.

It would be nice if you could understand English.

Not sure any of those will happen though.

Incriminating how? The suspect is accused of receiving photos, not sending them.

No, the unknown presenter is accused of paying a 17-20 year old to send photos? Nothing has been said about them sending them?

I would be very surprised if it weren't though, wouldn't you be? News presenters with pictures of themselves with their pants around their ankle's.

Isn't that what I just said?

Ah yes, basically 😅

I just mean that accusations currently relate to payments to receive stuff / keep quiet. But i wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being more than that once it all comes out 🤷‍♂️... And similairy ruling it out seems premature. Especially as there is certainly an incriminating photo doing the rounds - although whether genuine or not who knows.

Only a matter of time before GB News go for broke and just name him.

As long as all they say is "xxxx is under investigation by the BBC" I can't really see how they can be sued or stopped.

By the time there is an Ofcom investigation or whatever, it will be known that what they said was true.

Every single person reading the news knows who it is. The dam will break very quickly.
