Ulrika Jonsson, who claimed she was told that Wallace made a “rape joke” during her time on Celebrity MasterChef, told the Daily Telegraph she felt Wallace's response showed “the arrogance of a man who has zero introspection or self-awareness”.

“When he made reference to women of a certain age I was just seething... I was just absolutely wild,” she said.

Just like in the 90's eh Ulrika?

Diddymen who mined it!!, I bet they get paid peanuts which sounds like slave labour and exploitation to me. Btw, no offence to dwarfs intended.

I think that the hardest workers in society are often under valued and certainly under remunerated. Documentaries covering the industrial changes across the decades have shown that  the jam mines were a happy working environment, enabling communities to literally stick together.

Unlike so many other industries, there has been no suggestion of improper use of tickling sticks. But that still leaves those financial rewards. The Diddymen co-operative did diversify into the 1980's floatation of Arthur Askey's Treacle Mines, opening up global trade, from which they all still benefit.

Ulrika Ka Ka heard much worse than this in Shooting Stars and she didn't complain back then.

Am not sure what cancelled means in this context. He's been publically criticised for being arrogant and unprofessional with his comments and he's been dropped as a host on MasterChef as a result. I could be wrong but I haven't seen anything beyond that like prosecution or anything. I expect he would be free to pop up on reality telly or similar if he were so minded.

I meant literally in the sense of the Labour MP suggesting any further episodes featuring him aren’t screened in case it proves triggering.

Not very fair on the professional contestants who have worked so hard to reach the latter stages. I mean he is a dick, and deserves the sack as his behaviour is well below minimum standard. And not very wise what he said yesterday showing the character flaws.

It’s not in the same league as Savile though where all old TOTP aren’t shown. More allegations might emerge which escalate things eg groping but not yet.

Hints of the issues very coded from John Torode https://www.ok.co.uk/celebrity-news/john-torode-exposed-gregg-wallaces-34233502 but it was what Lisa Faulkner said (Torode’s partner) said at the Cheltenham Literature Festival last month which seemed to take the lid off what has been simmering for some time.

Wallace unfollowed them both on Instagram today apparently, stoking up for a pop at those two.

I suppose this would offend all the wholesome clean living moral women out there. " Grape Grape!!!, excuse me madam but don't you mean Rape. No I mean Grape as there were a bunch of them.

Apparently Melanie Sykes got upset over Wallace asking her if models ate. Given other comments he had made else this seems to be a bit lightweight. The reason she gave up her TV career???

That's just how he said hello, the rest of the article is more about the environment he created, and telling an ex model that her career will be helped by being on "his show" is a powerplay.

Again though, it wasn’t as if he was pitching. She was already on the show and would be getting the exposure. I was expecting more given that this was supposed to be “jaw dropping”.  I don’t doubt that he gave off creepy vibes, but that isn’t a reason to jump on the pile on. We all know creepy people. Unless there is something in the groping claims, all he seems to be guilty of so far is being a dinosaur who is stuck in the 1970’s (and we all know some of those 😉).

Back in the 70’s it was all over the place. I was talking to a boss when his secretary came in with a cup of coffee for him. He wanted some more milk and when asking for it he made a gesture as if she was to express the milk herself from her breast. She just walked out as if nothing had happened. No HR involvement. Nothing. Wallace is part of a dying breed, but there are still plenty of them out there.

More allegations broadcast about Wallace on the BBC News tonight. The BBC and the production company cannot comment while the investigation is carried out but it is ok for the BBC to broadcast these new allegations to the country.

Surely if criminality is suspected it should be dealt with by the police and CPS and any other inappropriate behaviour through the HR internal processes. Crucifying someone in the mainstream  media before any investigations have been completed and conclusions drawn seems to be the thing now.

Why oh why do you feel the need to make up stories to try and make yourself look like the all knowing and all powerful? Without exception, each time there is a current affairs issue, you have in some way experienced it and or were just the other day taking to someone who said you were totally right on that given subject. It's just so sad and insecure.

A bit rich coming from someone who believes in conspiracy theories or throws things around here without any proof. I have worked in the media and for the CPS so have probably a bit more experience than someone who fills shelves at Tescos. That is not to knock Tescos employees by the way.

Have you found the proof that I called Trump a warmonger, that I am a racist/fascist and sided with Biden over his son’s pardon yet?

Tesco still need shelf stackers, the CPS and Guardian haven’t needed your “skills” for 20 years I wouldn’t be boasting too much about your career

So I go to BBC sport app to check the cricket test in NZ. Headline is about Day 1 of women’s test which very few will care about but BBC feel need to give prominence. Be lucky if a few hundred in crowd which tells you everything the BBC ignore.

Don’t get me started on their advert for their women’s podcast ‘always ignored’ ‘never listened to’ rubbish. I’ve tried ignoring the missus and it doesn’t end well

The Beeb don't have TV or radio coverage of the New Zealand tests, so their reporting on them is not a priority.

Worse is their reporting on cycling, if they can't fit a British angle into an event, it hasn't happened.

To be fair, I guess it depends on what time of day you look at their website. As I type (6.45 am) the NZ match is top on their headlines - even beating RM's sacking.

Well tonight the public broadcaster has its finger on the pulse as football headline is all about the women’s champions league build up. What no doubt the majority of their ‘customers’ are after - would go bust if they actually needed to rely on giving the public what they wanted. Arghh I sound like a Daily Mail reader

So the top 10 most watched programmes on TV this Christmas were BBC prigrammes.

Christmas will be very different if Rupert Lowe and the BBC defunders ever have their way.

Hopefully Rupert Lowe’s political career goes the same way as his time with Saints. Doesn’t live too far from here, in Withington IIRC, although will have a bolt hole somewhere in the Broads. No way someone from his background is living in or near Great Yarmouth!

So subscribing to it rather than being forced pay via a poll tax won’t be an issue then.

It’s funny how the people who think it’s so great , are the ones who don’t want it subjected to the market.

If it’s good as they claim, people will subscribe to watch it. Why should people who don’t want to watch it, pay to not watch it.
