I like some of the black training wear but 45 quid a t-shirt and 65 quid for a top....bit much.

Basically paying 23 pound for an iron on badge :

Had a bit of a eureka moment earlier on which I’ve not seen elsewhere - was discussing our 135 anniversary sash kit with a guy at work and we said about how ridiculous a land mark it was and are we going to bother for 140 years when we didn’t for 130, then I remembered the green sash kit....

Was this intended to be an anniversary shirt that they never mentioned, or is it just a happy coincidence? Can we expect a sash every 5 years now?

That’s curious -  I guess if I find out en route to the the game that I have missed out on a social distanced seat for the game, I can divert to the golf course and not have to change my shirt.

Revealed in August.

Do we know why it's being revealed separately to the other two kits? Intentionally being done this way as some kind of marketing ploy or being forced to do it this way due to manufacturing issues or suchlike?

Surely the purpose of manufacturing and selling these items is to make money? Why would you produce something that from the outset you know will never sell in any quantity?

I wonder who looks after these things at the club and gives to go ahead for crap like this training shirt?

There's clearly something amiss. This year we had a training shirt that was only available to buy for about a month and then the club announced that there wouldn't be any more.

So we had a shirt that wasn't available, which equals no income, and now we have a shirt that's so hideous it won't sell, which equals no income. There's a theme developing here. We're not very good at capitalising on merchandising opportunities.

Kit looked good today - funny how times change though, couldn’t help but notice the team weren’t wearing the “professional” versions of the kit and they looked a bit baggy. Not so long ago that was the norm for players, you wore the same kit the fans do.

Wow, doubt it’s real given the badge isn’t in a shield like the other two kits. Pity

This is what I thought, also why I thought the green sash is more plausible. I thought somebody on here had seen it and was hoping they could confirm/dismiss them

Holes in loads of socks today, poor quality? Or are we still using the old socks from "last" season's kit?

Think it’s a general thing with footballers. Socks are too tight on their calfs so they cut holes to release the pressure. It’s also why a lot of them don’t have feet too then either!

That black one is slick. Every season I end up frustrated that people are able to spend less than half an hour designing something better than what we come up with.

Not sure the gold looks right on the 3rd kit. Reminds me of the sort of packaging you get on bags of rice. Maybe it'll look ok when it's worn but whenever I see it I just think of the Yau Brothers supermarket.
