bangkoksaint Posted 21 April, 2020 Share Posted 21 April, 2020 I believe I worked out that his ‘track’ is 59M!
jasonb Posted 21 April, 2020 Share Posted 21 April, 2020 That's a piece of **** for him! If he doesn't do it in under 3 hours I will be disappointed especially with all that space to run in. Tongue very firmly in cheek of course. What a hero.
jasonb Posted 24 April, 2020 Share Posted 24 April, 2020 I see he's on a treadmill now. I've decided to join him, although since I'm not fit enough atm I'm doing a relay with my non running wife and son! Should be fun.
paulwantsapint Posted 26 April, 2020 Author Share Posted 26 April, 2020 No surprise that he pulled it off Even less surprise that national media are not interested
Lord Duckhunter Posted 26 April, 2020 Share Posted 26 April, 2020 Even less surprise that national media are not interested Why should they be, it’s hardly Captain Tom. Originally he was going to do 717 laps of his garden, that’s unusual and a story. Bloke runs 26 miles on a treadmill, it’s hardly hold the front page. jasonb Posted 26 April, 2020 Share Posted 26 April, 2020 Never in doubt Franny! We completed our own Treadmill marathon this afternoon in 4hrs 39mins which I was delighted with as my wife started jogging on the treadmill 2 weeks ago when we got it and my son is also relatively new to it. Considering I only decided to do it on Friday we raised over £400 for NHS Charities together from family and friends. Best thing, i think the family may have caught the (running) bug
East Kent Saint Posted 27 April, 2020 Share Posted 27 April, 2020 According to an interview in the Guardian he felt dizzy and ill running round in circles so switched to the treadmill . I forgot he got seriously unwell after 5 days of his 7 day triathlon attempt .
