Shroppie Posted 2 April, 2020 Posted 2 April, 2020 Eleven years ago on this day Saints went into administration with the prospect of relegation, points deduction and the possibility of being wound up unless a buyer could he found in six weeks. Whatever the moans are today, things will hopefully never be that black again. I can remember talking in some despair to a friend and will always remember his reply. "Things could be worse. At least you're not Pompey." Every cloud. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
Colinjb Posted 2 April, 2020 Posted 2 April, 2020 (edited) Such bleak times, there are those who say the club folding was realistically never going to happen...... But it was something I was mentally preparing for. What to do in a world without your club? And now, eleven years on, we have a world without football in progress. Edited 2 April, 2020 by Colinjb
S-Clarke Posted 2 April, 2020 Posted 2 April, 2020 It doesn't feel that long ago, so much has happened and so much progress made. But it wouldn't take much to get back there tbf....one relegation with rubbish players on huge wages still on our books and an owner not interested would probably do it.
Shroppie Posted 2 April, 2020 Author Posted 2 April, 2020 Mad how quick time is flying by .....Going fairly slowly at the moment, to be honest. [emoji3525][emoji3525] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
