Who was the centre back saints signed who made just two first team appearances, scoring an own goal in each with an aggregate loss of 0-7 in the two matches he played?

I should also have said he was part of a premier league winning squad When we signed him.

Correct, part of arsenals title winning team in 98, considered a very good signing, was anything but.

On the topic of disastrous appointments, name Stuart Gray's choice of assistant manager, who managed to endear himself to absolutely no one in his short time at the club.

Correct. Beat us 1-0 in the league and fa cup whilst a league one side. Or second division as it was called in those days.

Which Dutch international "trialled" in a friendly in Feb 82 and scored twice in a 4-4 draw with Gothenburg.

We were top at that time and if we could have afforded him, we may have won the league that season.

Tsu La Ling.

Not sure of the spelling though. Or why we didn't sign him.

That's over 12 hours. If Lets B wishes to do the honours and post another question.....

By your rules should it not revert to Saint Garrett ?
