Saint Fan CaM Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Can’t see us scoring today with that front line. Let’s hope I’m very wrong.
Baird of the land Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Was hoping we'd play one of the right backs. Hope Smallbone can play as well as last week. Equally Ings is a big miss.
Turkish Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Our best midfielder is our first choice right back!
Heisenberg Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Odds changed in favor of WHU as soon as lineups were announced.
Convict Colony Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 when is the time we had 3 irish players starting for us
Heisenberg Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 when is the time we had 3 irish players starting for us Today?
Shroppie Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Our best midfielder is our first choice right back!Because he's also our best RB. It's a question of whether Smallbone is a stronger replacement in midfield than Valery or KWP would be at FB. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 weird how JwP was not our best RB when Cedric was here.... was a strange move that!
Turkish Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 weird how JwP was not our best RB when Cedric was here.... was a strange move that was Another brilliant January transfer window at SFC!
Heisenberg Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Poor Danso can't even get on the bench ahead of an injured Ings and an unfit Valery
Turkish Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Poor Danso can't even get on the bench ahead of an injured Ings and an unfit Valery Another brilliant loan signing.
Matthew Le God Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Our best midfielder is our first choice right back! Alternatively... Walker-Peters is but is returning from injury and Hasenhuttl is happy with the good performances from Ward-Prowse & Smallbone and doesn't feel the need to change.
vectraman Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 West Ham seem to be a bogey team for us in recent years - 3-1 to them sadly.
Matthew Le God Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Turkish is a 1980s manager, doesn't understand how 21st century sports science works with returning players and thinks not injured = straight into the starting XI
John Boy Saint Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 So whats the thinking with Valery and Walker Peters on the bench, if Smallbone is being bulldozed in midfield bring one of them on to allow JWP to slide into the middle?
Turkish Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Because he's also our best RB. It's a question of whether Smallbone is a stronger replacement in midfield than Valery or KWP would be at FB. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk Surely it’s a question of why do we have two right backs who are behind a midfielder in the pecking order for their position?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Alternatively... Walker-Peters is but is returning from injury and Hasenhuttl is happy with the good performances from Ward-Prowse & Smallbone and doesn't feel the need to change. Stop posting sensible thinking

WALK DMC Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Another brilliant January transfer window at SFC! Cedric is still injured and likely to be unavailable for Arsenal for another couple of weeks. So while losing Cedric wasn't seen as initially preferable, every week that he is unavailable and we are making money actually demonstrates what a good deal it was. In summary - JWP would still be playing right back today, if Cedric had stayed. But hell, lets not worry about the facts getting in the way of a cheap jibe.

OttawaSaint Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 This one is a good one for some of the forum experts to get some form back. Maybe test out new material or switch up their accounts a bit...
Wade Garrett Posted 29 February, 2020 Posted 29 February, 2020 Asking a lot of Smallbone, who will be up against Noble and Rice.
