Turkish Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 and back to shipping goals, whilst we loaned out a good part of a performing defence still, we will beat Burnley! Don’t worry we are saving our money for the summer

Lighthouse Posted 15 February, 2020 Author Share Posted 15 February, 2020 are you including Yoshida’s 5 mins since October in that “good part of a performing defence”? No, you idiot he means Cedric. Against a team of hoofers, knocking long balls up to the big fellar on the far post, in sh*t weather, you don't stand a chance without Cedric. bogwoppit Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 The "sensible" and "successful" window has seen us drop 4 places (c£8 million in prize money) and exit the FA cup (£ impact unknown) Must stay positive though. I think the penny has finally dropped with lots of people.....we have a owner who has absolutely no interest in football

cloggy saint Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 Can't give that as a pen'. He was so close to Stephens and his arm wasn't outstretched. Imagine the reaction if that was given against us?
Bananaman Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 Maybe inconsistent, but that is never a penalty. hand by his side, ball struck at him. Never ever a penalty. I'm happier news, Adams is coming on
mrfahaji Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 As much as Burnley are a horrible team to watch, you have to give them credit for their defensive approach. They are well schooled at making it so difficult for teams all over the pitch. Of course, conditions like today really help them too, but in much the same way as when we get a result against the big sides they "seem to have an off day", maybe it's less us being bad and them being good today. Controversial opinion I know!
Heisenberg Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 Burnley have been the better team. We've managed 1 shot on target all 90. Created nothing

cloggy saint Posted 15 February, 2020 Share Posted 15 February, 2020 A lot of lazy cliches get thrown at Burnley but they are an organised and dogged side. Let's not forget they won at Old Trafford recently and should have beaten Arsenal last time out.
