Turkish Posted 1 February, 2020 Share Posted 1 February, 2020 We can’t expect to bring too many players in as we still have a huge wage bill and too many changes isn’t good because the team won’t gel and really would Goas advisors tell him to spend a lot as we’ve made some bad signings in the past, it isn’t a sustainable model to sign players for millions. Plus we don’t want to block the pathway for all our brilliant young players coming through. We’re probably best trying to shift some of the deadwood first and then we can see where we are in January. This. It's not an investment if you don't make money. That's just basic business stuff.
verlaine1979 Posted 2 February, 2020 Share Posted 2 February, 2020 In fact, it's not an investment if there's even a slight chance you might lose money. That's even more basic on the business stuff curriculum.

Useful Idiot Posted 2 February, 2020 Share Posted 2 February, 2020 I expect we'll look to clear out deadwood such as JWP, Ings, Hojbjerg, Redmond, Bednarek and Bertrand to make room in the squad for players returning from their successful loans. There's no way we could sign anyone as we've not made enough of a profit in the January window.
