Saint_clark Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Vestergaard on, ****ing great. So Prowsey is out for the season and we're gonna lose this now. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

hypochondriac Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Well that's ****. Not sure what we will do for the rest of the season. Hope he's OK.

OttawaSaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 That RB spot is like the poisoned chalice.
CB Fry Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Ball bags. Luckily we've got loads of options at right back and centre mid so everything is fine.
SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 **** Vestergaard on, Stephens to right back? JWP, Ings and Stephens - we were always in trouble if we lost one of them this season...
St Chalet Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Hoping that’s just an impact injury and not anything more serious to JWP’s knee.
OttawaSaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 How wrong you are... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk In that case, you should work on your bedside manner...
austsaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Romeu & hoj the weak links in midfield Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk Just not right - apart from losing possession once, Romeu has been outstanding. Boufal has also been excellent. Hope JWP is not badly hurt.
Jonnyboy Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Excellent bit of business by the club getting Cedric out on loan.
adrian lord Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Never had a muscle snap on you then? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk Oxygen has no analgesic properties. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

jamesfp1 Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 From his reaction alone you can tell that's his season over.
Sheaf Saint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Excellent bit of business by the club getting Cedric out on loan. He wouldn't have been able to play tonight anyway.
adrian lord Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 In that case, you should work on your bedside manner... I’m not at the bedside. I am watching tv. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

igsey Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Oxygen has no analgesic properties. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Heard of gas and air? Looked like a heavy impact but hopefully no long-term damage. Could really have done with Valery on the bench, shame he's not recovered in time.
OttawaSaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Is Vestergaard playing RB then? EDIT: Just heard it's Stephens.
Raging Bull Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Oxygen has no analgesic properties. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It is good though. Had some when the trouble and strife was in labour with number 1

so22saint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 That looked like an ACL going to me My thoughts exactly. He slapped his knee and put his hands to his face knowing it was a back one. Medial maybe :-(
S-Clarke Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 JWP has been really lucky with injuries to be fair over the course of his career, but that looked a bad one just by the reactions. Could be a long road back, it's incredibly frustrating given he's just in the best spell for us as well. What a knock back for everyone! Our team will feel different without him, he's been the driving force these last few months. He was certainly on course for a euros place I reckon! Sucks.
Ohio Saint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Can't we just agree that the medical staff don't know what they are doing and the guy on the forum that claims to be an expert is, well, an expert?
Shroppie Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 My thoughts exactly. He slapped his knee and put his hands to his face knowing it was a back one. Medial maybe :-(Yep. I'm at the game and it didn't look good. Time fir Romeu to step up. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Good job we didn’t sell Romeu. Bloody good chance for Smallbone now this season.
Baird of the land Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Curious why spurs pitch has such a sharp incline at the sides.
stknowle Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Yet again the better side away from home. Very comfortably. BUT we do look too open to the counter and obviously the JWP thing is a massive problem. It's not so much the RB position assuming Valery and KWP are up and running quickly but it basically leaves us with Romeu and Hojberg as our midfield probably for the rest of the season until one/other or both gets suspended/injured. Our squad is stupidly wafer thin and it's going to hurt us.
Micky Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Going to end up ruing the missed chances now. Shame really, played really well in that first half. JWP going to be a big miss for us now as well. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
SonicBoom Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 what we really need to do is turn our good play into goals. We missed chances in the first game and paid the price, we missed chances against Liverpool and we've missed more tonight. We dominated that half and yet it's still all square. That really was a poor miss from Ings, keeper backing away, 6 yards out and he misses the target. We have to press home the advantage or we will pay again.
Matthew Le God Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Curious why spurs pitch has such a sharp incline at the sides. It help drainage, plus the pitch moves out and a new one comes in for American football games...
ButtikonSaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Hope JWP is ok... didn't look good though. Not a bad half but we got to be switched on to their counters... COYR
opthomps Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Looked more sluggish with Prowse off. Big effort needed from everyone and a bit of luck to get through this one now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bpsaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 It help drainage, plus the pitch moves out and a new one comes in for American football games... Wow - that is pretty awesome tbf. Hope JWP is ok but that did not look good at all. Luckily we backed Ralph in the window and signed plenty of reinforcements to our squad...
Foxy Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Nitrous oxide mixed with air relieves pain yes but not O2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Mrs F was most displeased when I, exhausted at about 4am as she was in labour, was unwise enough to ask, as she didn’t seem to want any gas and air at that point, and it being good stuff, if I could ‘have another toke on that’
Shroppie Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Rumour going round the stadium it's an ACL. [emoji3525][emoji3525][emoji3525] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Red Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Yep. I'm at the game and it didn't look good. Time fir Romeu to step up. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Certainly not good, but watching on BT Sport it seemed to be a kick to the knee - no? Even tatters seemed to think it was a good whack to the knee cap. Just hope it's not too serious
trousers Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Curious why spurs pitch has such a sharp incline at the sides.I'm at the game but didn't see the incident (too busy chatting!). Did the slope off the the pitch have a part to play in the injury then?
Mr X Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 We need to win this for JWP! Can't see it though spurs always seem to get lucky! Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk
Rory Peepa Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Watching replay I’m sure it’s acl. Blow to inside of knee, knee joint opens up. That’s his season done I fear. [emoji30] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
saintwbu Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Hoping JWP is a bad flesh wound, rumours of players shouting you could see bone...
OttawaSaint Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 JWP has been really lucky with injuries to be fair over the course of his career, but that looked a bad one just by the reactions. Could be a long road back, it's incredibly frustrating given he's just in the best spell for us as well. What a knock back for everyone! Our team will feel different without him, he's been the driving force these last few months. He was certainly on course for a euros place I reckon! Sucks. Feels like a similar situation to when JROD injured himself against City. Playing great, on the verge of a call up and boom...long road back I feel.
gandalf Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Can't we just agree that the medical staff don't know what they are doing and the guy on the forum that claims to be an expert is, well, an expert? Dr Adrian Lord. Priory Hospitals.
SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2020 Posted 5 February, 2020 Right back will be fine when KWP and Valery are back, but we will suffer in CM now. Who else can play there? We have Hojbjerg, Romeu and Smallbone now. Armstrong or Boufal? I guess Danso can play there as was reported when he signed but with now only 4 centre backs in the squad, of which he is one, that would leave us short there. I’d almost swap losing tonight for having JWP fit by the end of the winter break. I think Boufal might get a lot of chances for the rest of this season. Hope he shines. Decent ball for our goal too.
