Unless the idea is to buy this guy as well as McKennie. Maybe they are different types of players? Or maybe Ralph doesn’t feel like Reed is good enough it fits the system well?
rudi7s Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 The championship is not a significantly higher quality league than Bundesliga 2

I think people need to let it go.

We missed some bit and protection of the back line when Wanyama went and for all of Hoj's downsides he did break up play well on occasion.

Precious little info on him that I can find except that he has dainty little ballerina feet and can dance through tight spaces. Not a bad attribute to have but doesn't normally come with the "powerhouse" package.

Very old highlights video of him through the age groups but you can get a sense of what he is about.

Dusic Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 Not saying that we are not interested in Mangala but has anyone seen it mentioned anywhere apart from that one Twitter account? Some of its other tweets are dubious to say the least.
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 So we have been told that deals relating to Salisu and Hojbjerg are done and the KWP is just about done. Yet, there is nothing on the Saints website. Why is that?

Dusic Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 https://www.footballinsider247.com/southampton-make-move-to-beat-leeds-united-to-attacker-signing/ Link to Harry Wilson. Assuming we try to offload Boufal, I think we will peobably try to sign one "no10" so interesting to see if there is anything in this.
HarvSFC Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 Wilson is crap, according to Bournemouth fans, but if we can get £17m for a player named Che Edams I'd be happy with that. 1

revolution saint Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 Harry Wilson is dog turd. No way does he fit the profile Ralph is looking for. The lad will be last name on the team sheet for a division one side in a few years time.
Baird of the land Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 Please hope that it nonsense, Wilson is useless outside of set pieces.

They normally aren't shy about talking to the media about his intentions.

Saint_clark Posted 7 August, 2020 Posted 7 August, 2020 Boufal has had so many chances under so many managers playing lots of different styles. Bye bye.
