Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Bednarek lucky to avoid a yellow for that. Don't know what he was thinking really, it's like he tried to back out of it but far too late.
nta786 Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Son on another day could have buried that, Danso should have been more aware but eerily close
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Let off there. Spurs going to ground rather easily, referee buying it.
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Let off there. Spurs going to ground rather easily, referee buying it. Indeed. Bit of a theatrical dive and roll after that tussle with Redmond then.
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Surprised Dele didn't go down then. Would have been in keeping with his usual MO.
Ohio Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 any decent streams working? I can't find any! http://tutto-live.com/game/match/4363/Southampton-vs-Tottenham.html
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 What the buggering hell was that from Danso?
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Armstrong is a ball of energy, love how he never gives up on a ball.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Danso is terrible. Fair enough but just how many times and how many ways do you need to say it?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Fair enough but just how many times and how many ways do you need to say it? He is settling down now
Monk Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Fair play, even though if that is given offside, they played through the press impressively then.
Batman Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 yes, Danso is crap....offside though but crap defending from Danso
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 yes, Danso is crap....offside though but crap defending from Danso Whole defence were at fault there, got pulled all over the place. Lucky escape.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Spurs sitting deep and carving us apart on the counter.
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Whole defence were at fault there, got pulled all over the place. Lucky escape. Yeah you can't single out Danso there. The attack came down his side but the whole defence was all at sea.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Living very very dangerously. Gunn to the rescue this time.
obelisk Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Saints doing ok but Spurs quick breaks look far more likely to result in a goal.
Batman Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 fantastic save from Gunn SPus much better side at the mo
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Well played Gunn. Thought that was a certain goal. He's really not as terrible as some on here try to make out.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 We’re not tracking the trailing runner at all.
nta786 Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Saved by the skin of our teeth there! Well done Angus brilliant save.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Off the line from a spectacular Ings volley. So close!
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 He really does look rubbish. Know he's out of position but still, fcking hell. Hope we aren't thinking of signing him. The kid is 21, playing his first game in ages, is out of position and up against the likes of Alli, Son and Moura. He’s likely to be a bit nervous no?
nta786 Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Improved somewhat- have to say not playing vs Son was a blessing on NYD. A decent game despite a 0-0, think the winning goal will be a counter attack!
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Oh no. Armstrong off injured? That's bad.
St Chalet Posted 25 January, 2020 Author Posted 25 January, 2020 Armstrong has done a hamstring by the looks of things.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 The kid is 21, playing his first game in ages, is out of position and up against the likes of Alli, Son and Moura. He’s likely to be a bit nervous no? Today's scapegoat ?
Monk Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Fairly enjoyable game. Spurs seem to bypass the press on every other attempt, whilst we've retained the ball the better and sometimes just a foot away from pinching the ball in the final third from our press.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Armstrong off injured. Hope it’s just a knock. Djenepo on.
twopintsnilnil Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Here come the injuries. Could be facing a different kind of test over the next few weeks.
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 We're wide open when they break. Good save from Gunn but should have scored. It would have been ruled out by VAR. Replay showed he was clearly offside.
OttawaSaint Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 Our worst fears. Armstrong not rested and if that is a hammy he’ll be out for a month at least.
Batman Posted 25 January, 2020 Posted 25 January, 2020 HT. Decent game. We are neat and tidy, Obafemi showing good touches but not really troubling Lloris from open play They look very dangerous on the break
