benjii Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Fair play to Reinhard. He said our tactics would get us a result!
Shroppie Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Fair play to them, very balanced and even minded.Yep. Just drinking with some Leicester fans after the game and they are full of praise. More worried about what's gone wrong with their game. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
whelk Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Not true of Leicester fans in this thread on their main fan forum, lots of them giving credit to Saints.... https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/121639-city-1-2-saints-post-match/#comments Funny reading some of that with some negative poster getting abuse. Forums eh
suewhistle Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 ... if your bike is still there. Two locks and I went back to take my lights off.. :-)
trousers Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Actually, fair play to the Leicester fans on their forum. Very gracious in their praise of is and are not claiming they were rubbish. Pretty much all of them saying we were by far away the better team and if we did not win it would have been an injustice. Nice to see.Brendan Rodgers saying similar in his post match interview. Said they would have been fortunate to have come away with a point.
eurosaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Great result ! The show of character was immense particularly coming back from a goal down and dominating the play ! So many good chances made, we had a bit of bad luck and it could have been much more ! Deep joy ! COYS
CWD Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Wow wow wow. WHAT a turnaround! Nearly crashed the car when Ingsy scored - what a player he is
Tamesaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 its -27 here in Edmonton today with the wind chill. That was a result to warm the heart. Unbelievable turn around. A positive 29 today here in Barbados ... yet the win still very welcome to warm the heart. What a win!! Totally deserved. Armstrong brings a lot to the team with his pace and energy. Ings my MOM.
Bad Wolf Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Long's offside may well have been a pathetic decision but we've had worse go for us this season. It was no more silly than disallowing Kane's goal a week or so ago.
saint lard Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 It’s all a bit mad What a feckin turn around from the dross we have been served up. To this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Charlie Wayman Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 With 16 games to go... Saints are currently only 6 points away from 5th place, 4 points away form 6th place. We are competing for a European spot now! Not just us though is it?
hypochondriac Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 When are we saying we are definitely safe from relegation? A minimum five points in the next five games should do it though the way we are playing we should get more. Amazing really the players deserve a lot of credit for showing character and Ralph obviously who I never wanted to be sacked.

badgerx16 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Just discovered that it is exactly a year, ( well Saturday Jan 12th ), since we last played at the King Power - and won 2-1.
Dark Munster Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Not true of Leicester fans in this thread on their main fan forum, lots of them giving credit to Saints.... https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/121639-city-1-2-saints-post-match/#comments davieG: Wouldn't have been outrageous if the final score had been 1-9
John Boy Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Superb result - after sitting through West Ham the recent transformation has been amazing. Like Villa I went and did something else, I guess I best keep that up when we are away and not on the Tellybox
Micky Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Fantastic resullt ! Played superb and deserved more goals ......What allocation did we take ? As we always seem to take the minimum amount. This x 2. Made up with the result, while at the same time gutted that I couldn't get a ticket. The club really need to sort out away allocations. Heisenberg Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 (edited) Just discovered that it is exactly a year, ( well Saturday Jan 12th ), since we last played at the King Power - and won 2-1. Should give us genuine hope for the future. Was just a year ago that Leicester were losing to us (with 10 men), Cardiff, Newport + hammered at home to Palace. You'd have been laughed at if you suggested a year on they'd be in a cup semi final and 2nd in the league after selling maguire too. We've had a great recent revival but the turnaround at Leicester is absolutely incredible all told. Edited 11 January, 2020 by Heisenberg
Matthew Le God Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 fck me adams is rubbish His assist for the winning goal was quite useful...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 fck me I post some rubbish Fixed it for you you utter bell
Gordon Mockles Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 What a result and I have always loved VAR. Best invention ever!! Felt we may get something today but went for 2-2 as I did on my super 6 prediction. So glad I didn’t get that prediction right although I very nearly did. Phew! This result made me week. Just as well as it is sooooo tight in the table. Everton won but West Ham lost. Getting worried for Bournemouth. They’ve had an absolute mare with injuries and things aren’t looking good for them. Despite some of their animosity from their moronic contingent of fans (we all have them), I feel for them. I am so pleased for the result and can’t wait for MOTD. Ings booked for excessive celebrations (assuming the generic shirt off yellow. The last one I can remember for that offence is Stern John) made me laugh.
Saint Billy Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 The magic potion Ralph has concocted to turn a frog into a prince needs to be bottled, he'll make a fortune. Well done Ralph and the lads for an amazing turnaround.
SaintBobby Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 I still am gobsmacked at how amazing this turnaround has been. Stunning. Is it basically down to switching to a fairly simple and pressing 4-4-2 (or 4-2-2-2). Must be more to it than that! Anyway, happy, happy days.

Pouring rain here in the capital. Ski season a total bust so far. Saints certainly warmed the heart today. Incredible!
Lighthouse Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Don't know if it's been said already but hasn't the away team won the last 4 times we've played each other? Bit of a quirky stat.
vectraman Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Saints....amazing! Unexpected, deserved, fantastic. Well done boys !

Strangely Brown Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 ... if your bike is still there. I wouldn’t worry they haven’t learned how to walk upright down there yet so riding a bike will be beyond them!!
OttawaSaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Extended highlights (unofficial + dreadful editing!) You weren’t kidding. Was the editor on meth? Butchered it.
hypochondriac Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 fair play to them a lot give us creditProbably a bit easier to be magnanimous when you're second!
EBS1980 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Makes attracting players easier when you are 4pts off 6th than where were we a month or so ago in the relegation battle
OldNick Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Probably a bit easier to be magnanimous when you're second!perhaps but I don't think Chelsea etc would be so
trousers Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Apparently we are first on MOTD.Yup... First time this season...?
Manuel Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 ^ Well I didn't expect that! If I recall correctly, the last time we were 1st on MOTD was when we beat Sunderland 8-0.
trousers Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 ^ Well I didn't expect that! If I recall correctly, the last time we were 1st on MOTD was when we beat Sunderland 8-0.Did we do a DVD for that...?
Manuel Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Ha ha, funny how it turns out. I'm cautious about saying it, but with hindsight I wonder if that heavy drubbing was the best thing to happen to us.

Jonnyboy Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Just read that Leicester played the goals from the 0-9 on the screens before kick-off. Ars*holes. Seems that helped gee our players up
DT Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Watching motd. What a pass that was for our second from Adams. And didn’t McCarthy make crucial saves? Excellent. For me though Armstrong has completely lifted us in terms of energy and work rate. And Stephens has come good too. Great stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Adams made a couple of good chances it seems and whilst I am still unconvinced by him, he's been good foil for Ings.... Sometimes. He's strong and quick, let's hope he gets one and then just flies. But his other contributions are often good... And sometimes **** (Pompey he was dreadful).
Saint_clark Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 It was bloody quick though Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNever seen a top billed game on MOTD have less discussion after than that one. Must have been 2 minutes at most. Usually they go on for 7 or 8 minutes with in depth analysis. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
