East Kent Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Another week when I am looking forward to MOTD !
Behind Enemy Lines Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 I'm in a Portsmouth area Wetherspoons catching up with old friends. Let off a rather loud shout when I saw the final result. Having extra beer for luck and now I've got to cycle home.. The Parchment Makers?

Ohio Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 It’s funny how those that never have any opinions are the quickest to judge others In your judgement
Jimmy_D Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 The results we’re getting against the top teams again.... it feels like the seasons where we were competing for the European spots again
doggface Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Stunning. performance of the season from saints to a man. Could have been 4 or 5.
Edmonton Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 its -27 here in Edmonton today with the wind chill. That was a result to warm the heart. Unbelievable turn around.
macca155 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 The Parchment Makers? All like liverpool fans in there no prob Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
RedArmy Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Anyone still desperate to get Big Sam in to save our season?
Matthew Le God Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 The results we’re getting against the top teams again.... it feels like the seasons where we were competing for the European spots again With 16 games to go... Saints are currently only 6 points away from 5th place, 4 points away form 6th place. We are competing for a European spot now!
SW5 SAINT Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Can’t quite remember a turnaround like this ever before. We’ve gone from possibly the worst team in the division to potentially pushing towards top 8. Credit to Ralph as I thought he’d lost it completely. Currently I would say that apart from maybe Liverpool, we are the best team in the division at the moment.....

IronCitySaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Fantastic, dominant performance. From whipping boys of the league to a team that can give anyone a game in two short months. Funny old game. Keep it up lads.
austsaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Up all night to see in the birth of my first child and the mighty red and white bag 3pts. What a day. Well done you - and all the best on becoming a Dad.

We’ve gone from possibly the worst team in the division to potentially pushing towards top 8. Credit to Ralph as I thought he’d lost it completely. I'm trying to find it, but I'm pretty sure in October/November, The Guardian ran a piece asking the question if we were the worst team in the Premier League. They might well have been right at the time!
John Boy Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Up all night to see in the birth of my first child and the mighty red and white bag 3pts. What a day. Congratulations mate.
saint1977 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Fantastic result and performance. Real character shown after the 9-0 and after going an early goal down today. Ings was outstanding in particular but all of them deserve credit. Thought Schmeichel might be doing what Friedel used to do to us for Blackburn with a solo display but found a way past him in the end. Leicester forums very fair and generous, clear on who played the best. Good fans and a lot better than the garbage you’d read on the other top six fan sites in the same circumstances. They were also very critical of Leicester playing the 9-0 on the big screens before the game although I think our players were fairly amped up anyway.

beatlesaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Phil Thompson pretty disgusted by Leicester’s media team replaying the 9-0 with full commentary whilst Saints were warming up and Ralph obviously not impressed when asked about it on interview. Kind of backfired on them though so ****** to ya

Victor Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 BBC website is saying that Long was offside. Yeah. And they called Stuart Armstrong 'the Englishman'!

Kind of backfired on them though so ****** to ya IMO it was unsportsmanlike or ungentlemanly conduct. Book LCFC!
nta786 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 The BBC are only reporting what happened which is that VAR determined that Long was offside. I expect that will be debated elsewhere. Three more wins and we should be safe but if we can carry on like this even Europe could be a possibility. Or is that the Kiss of a Death? Would need 2015-16 2nd of the season form and it certainly is a possibility why not!!

Colinjb Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Seems to be a bit of a theme right now: Spurs fans: 'We had an off day.' Chelsea fans: 'We had an off day.' Leicester fans: 'We had an off day.'

doc oli Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Immense performance. Must also (quietly) give credit to Lee Mason who really let the game flow
gammon cheeks Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Fantastic resullt ! Played superb and deserved more goals ......What allocation did we take ? As we always seem to take the minimum amount.
badgerx16 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 What was all the guff on the commentary about Leicester's recent run of games affecting their players ? Other than the EFL Cup semi final they have played exactly the same number of games as us since mid December, and mostly on the same days.
Vancouver Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Up all night to see in the birth of my first child and the mighty red and white bag 3pts. What a day. Congratulations. So proud of our team. Never gave up even when it looked like we may not get the breaks we deserved.
badgerx16 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Immense performance. Must also (quietly) give credit to Lee Mason who really let the game flow He was a bit inconsistent with his yellow cards.

We’ve gone from possibly the worst team in the division to potentially pushing towards top 8. Credit to Ralph as I thought he’d lost it completely. good post. What a greta display. Got after them right from the start and never really let up. Got slightly fortunate with the offside goal, but we could have been well clear but for their keeper and the woodwork. Brilliant performance. Massive smile on my face...COYR

washsaint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Actually, fair play to the Leicester fans on their forum. Very gracious in their praise of is and are not claiming they were rubbish. Pretty much all of them saying we were by far away the better team and if we did not win it would have been an injustice. Nice to see.
Rory Peepa Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Wow what a turnaround. Shows the importance of heard work, PMA, spirit and belief. Amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dark Munster Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Leicester played all 9 goals on the big screen before kick off. Bit rude Actually a bit stupid, firing up our players even more. We were all over them like a bulldog going after a pork chop, especially in the first half. Brilliant performance.
um pahars Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Up all night to see in the birth of my first child and the mighty red and white bag 3pts. What a day. It’s an amazing feeling isn’t it!!!! Having your first child isn’t too shabby either
Nordic Saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 What an incredible turnaround we have seen this season. Yet more points won after going behind and another top six side beaten. You come to expect it now.
badgerx16 Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Really looking forward to the next installment of "League 1 minus 10".
Greenridge Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Actually a bit stupid, firing up our players even more. We were all over them like a bulldog going after a pork chop, especially in the first half. Brilliant performance. The fans on the Foxes forum are foaming about this. Not just because it may have acted as an incentive for our players but more so being completely disrespectful to SFC.
Norm Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 Must keep hold of Ralph. Funny old game football. 5 minutes ago, people were calling for his head on a stick?
hasper57saint Posted 11 January, 2020 Posted 11 January, 2020 (edited) Garth Crooks on the BBC doing his best to acting as a Spurs recruitment agent saying that Ings should move clubs and how Saints are a staging post for players to move to bigger clubs Are we allowed to say T.W.A.T? I just did! Edited 11 January, 2020 by hasper57saint Miss spelling

Having extra beer for luck and now I've got to cycle home.. The Isambard Kingdom Brunel? I was in there one Saturday night and there was a bunch of young Saints fans in Guildhall Square singing OWTS. With results like this, that could become a regular occurrence.
