NickG Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 Wotte " Paul Wotton was inspirational," the Dutchman commented. "We had a good attitude and created a lot of opportunities despite the conditions." wasn't he meant to have had run in with management team? Did we ever find out what happened?
saint_stevo Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 when was he inspirational? Vague doesn't do this thread justice

Give it to Ron Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 In the couple of reserve games I have seen - the other person that is as well is Jason Euell and he really helps out the kids. Both have done nothing but encourage, advise and support the kids in the games I have watched at Staplewood.
NickG Posted 21 January, 2009 Author Posted 21 January, 2009 thought very positive things to say if it was true that management had fallen out with him
trousers Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 sorry forgot the link -give me a second! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11253 "The former Feyenoord technical director praised the commitment of his players with a mention for those currently on the periphery of the first team." Hmmm.....Sounds like Wotte's being bigged up in preparation for his impending promotion....?

Someone told me yesterday he had a big bust up with Hockaday and that since then Hockaday has been shoved out on gardening leave. I still think (although I have nothing other than precedents to base my opinion on) that Hockaday was probably scheming behind Jan's back

Piecing together the clues from on here Wotton got sent away and trained with Brighton and appears close in the media to joining Sheffield Wednesday Hockaday gets placed on gardening leave Wotton is back on the bench. Seems pretty clear anecdotal evidence to me but wouldn't want to go to court with it....

Window Cleaner Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 In the same way that Wigley did to Sturrock? No, as I said yesterday Tigana and Puel at Monaco. I couldn't say about Wigley and Sturrock. I thought that was Claus and Dodd
Weston Saint Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 Piecing together the clues from on here Wotton got sent away and trained with Brighton and appears close in the media to joining Sheffield Wednesday Hockaday gets placed on gardening leave Wotton is back on the bench. Seems pretty clear anecdotal evidence to me but wouldn't want to go to court with it.... Initially I heard that Wooton had a go at Jan at half time against Burnley and was suspended by the club for two weeks. Had to train at Brighton during his suspension. Then the rumours regarding Hockaday being put on gardening leave led to some thinking it was Wooton having a go at him and not Jan but why suspend Wooton and then put Hockaday on gardening leave when he returned. Things are not right in the dressing room at present. Looks like Jan has lost it. However that is my conclusion from many little snippets I pick up. I have not been told that by any of the players or connections. That may have been one of the reasons for the meeting yesterday. A final clear the air or else.
Wade Garrett Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 No, as I said yesterday Tigana and Puel at Monaco. I couldn't say about Wigley and Sturrock. I thought that was Claus and Dodd I think they were involved as well. Wish Rupert stuck with Luggy and gave him the same support that he is giving the hapless JP.
