Chez Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 we are weak as **** through the middle. Antonio showing up our CBs for what they are - slow and weak.
trousers Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Are we still eighth? Is Antonio still not good enough for the Premier League...?
Red Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Not one single Saints player has even been slightly average so far - utter utter dross! Surely that can't be down to players alone? It's the hope that kills you - if they're not going to even try, then I would rather we just threw in the towel and forfeit the rest of our games and stop the agony! See you next Tuesday's!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heisenberg Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Just so gutless, talentless, weak. Utterly pathetic waste of space. I barely like any of these players. Ings, maybe pre-Arsenal Djenepo. The rest can take a long walk off a short pier. get behind the team ffs
Greenridge Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Yeah, I get how my post was very odd, and subject to a lot of debate, but your response is ultimately vapid and cowardly I guess it was the irony of a post from someone sat on a computer in North America. Maybe.
Badger Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Read this on the BBC match thread: Steve Brown Former Charlton Athletic defender on BBC Radio London Nathan Redmond was awful first half, truly awful. I have seen him tear sides up before and he can be unplayable but he look disinterested today. You would have to ask the manager if he is pointing the finger at him but his performance was so poor that it was obvious he was either going to get 10 minutes to prove himself or be dragged and he's gone. That's as poor as I have ever seen him. Steve Brown, whoever he is, could probably be regarded as a fairly impartial observer so it's interesting to read that view.
DT Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 It’s like we’ve never played with each other. How can they have so little fight in them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Donatello Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 If the club stick with Ralph there won’t be anyone left watching. Yeah, the problem with that is that we'll still have Stephens, PEH, Vestergard, Cedric, Redmond, Bertrand, Bednarek, Romeu, and Long floating around the first team (some of who are out of form, but most of who are not of the standard we need).
captainchris Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 I’m sorry but Ralph, you obviously have not researched West Ham one tiny bit. You haven’t considered Antonio’s threat at all, you are ill prepared for this match in every way and are an amateur.
Batman Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Yeah, the problem with that is that we'll still have Stephens, PEH, Vestergard, Cedric, Redmond, Bertrand, Bednarek, Romeu, and Long floating around the first team (some of who are out of form, but most of who are not of the standard we need). Are you suggesting Ralph is not actually any better than Mark Hughes? As I can’t see the difference
Micky Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 It really is like watching 11 headless chickens run around a field.... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 If the roles were reversed and we were 1-0 up, 2 goals disallowed etc. I’d be fearing for Saints, knowing they’d **** it away. This way round it’ll be easy, cruise control for the win for WHU. We are so unthreatening, powderpuff all over the park. No one willing to get stuck in.
Badger Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Swap him for a traffic cone, it would still be an improvement. I hope our scouting network are keeping a close watch on Boufal's kitchen table as well as I believe that has made more meaningful challenges than most of our defenders or midfield players this season.
woodsaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Stephens and Bednarek are a shambles at times
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Cedric now playing 4d chess. If he doesn’t actually cross the ball, then he won’t get groaned at for another **** cross.
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Cedric. Wow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 50 year olds in my indoor league have better control of the ball.
Edmonton Saint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 What was the point in the Danso and Adams signings?
adrian lord Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 The fact that it is somehow still only 0-1 tells you a lot about why West ham are in the position they are in too.
Badger Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 I’m sorry but Ralph, you obviously have not researched West Ham one tiny bit. You haven’t considered Antonio’s threat at all, you are ill prepared for this match in every way and are an amateur. Shouldn't we have scouts and others watching and providing him with input on the upcoming opposition ? (I recall Adkins said that was down to Crosby, and Lawrie once gave John Mortimore credit for much of this )Not looking to completely absolve him of blame but it does seem we are ill-prepared in every respect. Perhaps we have delegated this duty to one of the many goalkeeping coaches we have.
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Hoj is just so bad...at everything. It’s laughable.
Ohio Saint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Shots over the bar is the only consistency I am seeing
Badger Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Hojbjerg is dreadful Not in his own mind he isn't. Used to play for Bayern Munich you know ?
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Surely time for Armstrong or Adams. Just blow the FT whistle, we’re not scoring today. Might help our GD.
Mr X Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 The fact that it is somehow still only 0-1 tells you a lot about why West ham are in the position they are in too.The position of not being in the relegation zone like us? Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
trousers Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Surely time for Armstrong or Adams. We seem to have a manager that makes subs according to arbitrary times on the clock unfortunately.
Donatello Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Are you suggesting Ralph is not actually any better than Mark Hughes? As I can’t see the difference No, I'm suggesting we're going to be **** regardless of the manager. But yeah, Ralph is better than Hughes (who couldn't even average a point a game).
Mr X Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 We seem to have a manager that makes subs according to arbitrary times on the clock unfortunately.I.e rarely before the 85th minute Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 This is as bad as the Leics and Everton games, just shocking all over the park. Lol. Good old Shane Long. Why is he even near the first 11, that’s just how bad we are...
5string Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Surprised to note we've already had about 25 minutes of the 2nd half. We don't appear to have done anything. Our players also seem surprised when the ball comes to them - one thing I was taught as a youngster was: never be surprised by the ball.
St Marco Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Ah ****... Really good shot though by Ings. Think Long needs to come off for Adams tbh.
OttawaSaint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 At this point Long should actually try to miss and it’ll more than likely go in. Ings is the only one out there who looks like a footballer. Twice off the woodwork.
Donatello Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 We seem to have a manager that makes subs according to arbitrary times on the clock unfortunately. Ralph definitely needs to be more proactive with his changes....give (bench) players a decent chance to affect the game.
Batman Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Ralph got the starting line up completely wrong then would not change it until HT Poor manager
trousers Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Ralph definitely needs to be more proactive with his changes....give (bench) players a decent chance to affect the game.I'm baffled as to why we haven't made an attacking change with 75 minutes on the clock
so22saint Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Ralph definitely needs to be more proactive with his changes....give (bench) players a decent chance to affect the game. Agreed. Armstrong for PEH now
DT Posted 14 December, 2019 Posted 14 December, 2019 Almost unwatchable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
