Sheaf Saint Posted 28 September, 2019 Posted 28 September, 2019 Not seen much of it so far, but this is a sterling effort from Japan. I assumed it would be a routine, high-scoring win for Ireland, but if Japan can hold on to this lead it will be well deserved.
badgerx16 Posted 28 September, 2019 Posted 28 September, 2019 A lovely example of fluid nationality; Pieter Labuschagne is a South African playing for and captaining Japan, whilst his brother Marnus plays cricket for Australia.
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 November, 2019 Author Posted 2 November, 2019 Well deserved by South Africa in the end. They defended brilliantly and ruthlessly exploited England's weakness at set pieces. They had a gameplan and stuck to it, and the better team won. Disappointing after England's monumental effort to beat NZ last week, but can have no complaints in the end.
