Just how much damage and how long term is the 'work' he did here?

:( Club is bloated with expensive flops, high earners and destinct lack of future stars

:( Hemorrhaging money on failed managers and payouts, presumably even still paying Hughes?

:( Youth talent seemingly as baron as its been in years

:( Club reputation and appeal dropped like a stone

:( Wee Wilson still here + other Les appointments across the club

Do we need a another thread about this as you have told us on nearly every thread about what happened and what he did,

its time to move on and look to the future, you need to find another obsession.

Try not to bore us with it over and over, there`s a good boy

It does feel as though a great weight has been lifted from the club now that he has gone. He was about as trustworthy as a shady used car dealer. The constant stream of negative PR 'leaks' about players and managers he had fallen out with created a very bad atmosphere at the club, undermined team morale and bitterly divided the fans (let's not forget, there was a minority of fanatical Reedites who regarded him as God and hated all the players and managers he wanted them to hate). Just glad that he has gone.

Agreed. Would Ralph be here now if Reed wasn't fired? I very much doubt it

Recovery is on, but will be long.

At the top of his momentum curve he was very very good, at the bottom of his momentum curve he was very very bad. Like the curve, it's now time to move on......

I miss his interviews. I used to love seeing his chubby little face boasting about how carefully he plans for everything. My favourite story was his secret file of managers we have been tracking for years that only he has access to. It was an amazing coincidence that the managers on the list all happened to be unemployed right at the time when we needed one.

I will never ever forget how he sat smugly, in front of the camera, telling everyone that 'Mauricio' plays fast, high intensity football.

Mauricio believes with the quality we have we can play exciting, attacking football, taking the game to our opponents by playing a high-intensity game. He will continue to develop and introduce young players whilst building on the core of experience that we have in the squad.

During the recruitment process Mauricio quickly became our first choice and, while he had other options, we are delighted he feels that St Mary’s is the right place for him and we believe he is the right fit for us.

what unfolded was tragically hilarious

Did the "black box" die with Les? Don't hear much talk on it now

Or the "Bridge of the Starship Enterprise" as Les fondly called it.

His time here was like a bbc three mockumentary

Glad to see he still has his supporters though. Makes it easier to spot the Skates

We've got rid of the disastrous Kreuger-Reed combine. The present leaders don't say much or appear much but they have got out of the club (for the moment) all the poor buys and others who wouldn't cut it and they have bought two forwards and an exciting defender. Fair play they have quietly done the business and put the manager and the finances in a much improved position. Every one who is here now wants to be here and wants to buy into the manager's style. Better times ahead!

Agreed - clean up has started. The pile to clear up is big however.

Said at time Les was fired it could take 2-3 years to recover

Love the passion.

Keep holding the club's feet to the fire pal - others won't.

Please can you start a few more threads about how bad you think Les Reed was?

The name Les Reed seems to be a trigger word for a lot

Suppose if I'd backed him so vocally I'd also be a little triggered when reminded of his time here.

It's OK to say you were wrong lads.

Yes. I had a little chuckle..

As for the OP, boringly repetitive. His spelling is poor too.

... and his grammar bears an uncanny resemblance to that of other posters on here.
