This 4-2-2-2 doesn't work with this team. We could get hammered here. We are so easy to create chances against.

I just don't using this set up with the players we have.

Adams and Ings are just not at the level we need. Even their press is ineffective most of the time. Not quick enough to stretch them. Not strong enough to hold the ball up and not technically adept to weave the midfielders and full backs onto the attack

Missing Valery. I don't know whether it's the manager instructions but Cedric is not getting forward. It's not right that Danso is getting further forward than him

Well I hate to tempt fate here, but it looks like we have ridden the storm a little. That 15-min period after they scored was horrific, so to have come through it still only 0-1 down is probably the best we can hope for at this stage.

I'm (perhaps foolishly)clinging on to the fact that we seem to have been so much better in the second half of games so far this season.

If we're going to get anything out of this, you sense that it's going to come from Boufal. By far our best attacking player so far.

Radio Solent commentary is dead. And so is my live telly streaming-feed from DAZN. What an annoyance!

You’re not missing much, Ings and Adams worked the ball into a decent area and then ****ed it up.

Zero pace in the side. I thought Adams was supposed to be quick?

United have been comfortable since scoring. Easily defended against us. If this attacking performance was under Puel, Pellegrino or Hughes people would be fuming on here.

Saints have managed to get into some reasonable attacking positions but it's as if some sort of panic takes over when calmness of thought and a modicum of skill is required.
