washsaint Posted 11 August, 2019 Share Posted 11 August, 2019 Great strike by N'Lundulu - I wish Ings had this (or indeed anything) in his locker. I sometimes think that the first team would have more guts and staying power with more of the U23s in it. Notice no Carillo, Hoedt or Lemina included in the U23 squad so hopefully all are on their way out.

trousers Posted 11 August, 2019 Share Posted 11 August, 2019 Thinking out loud... Would it have been an idea to give Djenepo a run out in this game given he didn't get a sniff yesterday?
Heisenberg Posted 11 August, 2019 Share Posted 11 August, 2019 MLG is so coming to get you for this... The rules allow for up to three overage outfield players as well as the goalkeeper to be over the age of 23 As I understand it

Forster has made a very odd cameo.

JRM Posted 12 August, 2019 Share Posted 12 August, 2019 Dan N'Lundulu only came to my attention attending some u23 games at the end of last season but i was very impressed, especially in the Newcastle play off game. Strength, power, decent strike of the ball, if he keeps this up will deserve a first team appearance.

He likely did it because the keeper pushed Hansen into the goal.

Has gotten better & better since he's been back.
