I do agree with the general points and it applies to all sports , we used to have Ashes series every few years , now they turn up nearly every year !!!!! In the old days sailing to Oz , playing 5 test matches and sailing back took 3 months !!!!!

Clubs have 25 man squads. Clubs should use that. Maybe look at lifting the 25 man squad size. Maybe don't have stupid international competitions during the season. Maybe don't have so many European competitions/games.

So the parasitic elite can stockpile even more good players? If anything it should go the other way, reduce non club grown players to something like 12.

Bring back the knockout European Cup...then you will lose quite a few games per season missing out group games. Maybe don't fly players halfway round the world to play stupid friendlies everywhere. I think I saw a pic that Liverpool squeezed in 5 games in 11 days. Mental.

100,000km flying in a year isn’t that excessive - especially in first class as a premier league player. A couple of year ago, I flew more than 90,000 miles in 7 months

It apples more to Rugby Union where the team can’t even manage a whole match ! But cricket has got stale due to too many matches , doesn’t matter if you lose because you will be playing them again soon . Too much football now , fifa keep trying to add more teams to World Cup . So much tv footer now that people just want to know who won , not how the match was played.
