alpine_saint Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 hehehehehehehe I wonder if Lowe realises that this so obviously has his fingerprints all over it after the AGM letter debacle...

Bourno Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Jack...shut up. We appreciated you when you were here. You have now moved on and we have bigger things to worry about.

alpine_saint Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Jack...shut up. We appreciated you when you were here. You have now moved on and we have bigger things to worry about. Yep. Jack Cork is nothing to do with Saints anymore. He decided Watford was a better prospect. He should keep his sticky beak out of our business.

JustMike Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 PR bollix imo, especially this bit..."The club gave me an opportunity to continue my development with a great set of young players, under a management team that play football the right way" How convieniant that this comes out now. Crap..utter carp

Sheff Saint Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Saints OS = Complete garbarge Lowe made it so in the power battle first time, it never really recovered but since Lowe has been back it is just utter utter drivel.

trousers Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Boycott the OS I say (or at least the first half of every article...)
eelpie Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Clearly a piece of 'smokescreen' to deflect attention from the serious meetings taking place now.
Um Bongo Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 He will score next week against us. (Or whenever it is)

Crap..utter carp Haha... means jack s.h.i.t when we're heading for relegation!
hamster Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Clearly a piece of 'smokescreen' to deflect attention from the serious meetings taking place now. It won't work though, people on here won't even mention it IMO. Oh..
SaintRobbie Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 (edited) Absolute B0LL0CKS ! IMHO of course. LOL... a week too late for counter propaganda isnt it?! What a joke. If you're going to react to the original stories you need to react immediately. This is complete fabrication. We see yet again, the OS being foolishly used by Lowe to retain credibility...Oh it's all so familiar dont you think? Remember last time we relegated... mmm... oh so familiar. david in sweden Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Yep. Jack Cork is nothing to do with Saints anymore. He decided Watford was a better prospect. He should keep his sticky beak out of our business. 'fraid so, it looks like a positive, somewhat sentimental, interest story (wonder who did the interview)..but it beats " I'm glad Watford gave me a lifejacket, because the iceberg was in sight " type of comment, but the next time he's at SMS (if ever) - you might hear the follow-up interview; " I recall the great times I had here as a young player and the help I had from one of your previous coaches ..what was his name ?..that Dutchman. It's still a nice ground, a pity that we beat you by such a big score today !" Having (somewhat cynically) got that out of my system if, by some miracle we survive, and the relegated Watford go down ; I'd take him back like a shot. Best young centre half we've seen since Mark Wright.
Calvin Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 I dont give a **** about what he saids. IF he wanted to stay with Saints then why didn't he? BECAUSE He wanted to go to a football club which will stay up Simple.
ottery st mary Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 Regurgitated rubbish put out by Saints. The true story is that Saints ****ed up....with papers/offer due to position/money problem/incompetence......Whilst fannying around Cork had a better offer which he took. Usual spin put out by club and of course the player is not too bothered and will not step out of line as there maybe another day when he needs certain freinds....He was all up for staying and his agent was trying to deal with un cooperative club in turmoil...so I am not having a dig...its due to circumstances at the club and Corks subsequent better offer that came at a bad time for Saints......Great defensive mid-field player. Hard Luck Saints.
egreog Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 God that is awful........why bother insulting fan's intelligence with such drivel?
Fowllyd Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 God that is awful........why bother insulting fan's intelligence with such drivel? You've just identified the primary purpose of the OS there.
gogo_saint Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 "The Southampton fans were great to me and I hope that they turn out in numbers to support the team as they go into the most important part of the season." yeah i really believe he said that bit...
hoozonside10 Posted 20 January, 2009 Posted 20 January, 2009 This really does remind me of Lowes last few weeks of his previous time here. Anyone heard of Lord Haw-Haw? It pretty amuch amounts to the same thing. If the board really think that the supporters/fans of this club are dense enough to fall for such utter clap-trap they should be ashamed. I really am lost for words.
