Bad Wolf Posted 10 August, 2019 Posted 10 August, 2019 Sweepstake on our first scorer of the season? I'll go Big Daddy V. He has to get one sooner or later.

VectisSaint Posted 10 August, 2019 Posted 10 August, 2019 The team sheet suggests Stephens on the right and Bednarek on the left. But last time Bednarek played on the right he had a mare. Hoping Bednarek actually plays right with Vestegaard left and Stephens centre.

He is rubbish but no way would do anything but encourage when he is playing

Kingsland Codger Posted 10 August, 2019 Posted 10 August, 2019 Che to score within the first 10 minutes.

Still, I'm just pleased Long isn't in the squad

Your opinion which you're welcome to is that he's not good enough, Ralph's opinion is that he is. Whose opinion holds most weight here?

suewhistle Posted 10 August, 2019 Posted 10 August, 2019 Or how many training sessions. FWIW I'm mildly surprised, but unlike with Hughes or Pellegrino I have more confidence in RH's choices. Wouldn't mind seeing our tall defenders eventually getting a goal from a dead ball situation; they've been decidedly lacking the last few years.

It's a new season. Give him a chance. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
sadoldgit Posted 10 August, 2019 Posted 10 August, 2019 I would say that Ralph’s opinion carries more weight as he actually picks the team and we won’t know if the result would be any different if he picked a different team.

Yoshi could be fatigued, poorly, not as fit as others yet, slight knock, etc. Of course Ralph knows better than us lot
