FarehamSaintJames Posted 9 December, 2021 Share Posted 9 December, 2021 The Met Police confirmed late last night they won’t be investigating due to lack of evidence. Its literally the police’s job to look for the evidence. The fact people are coming out and saying there was a party, newspapers have names but are yet to go on record. A week ago at PMQs apparently there was no party, this week at PMQs there was no denial of a party BUT “I’ve been assured all rules were followed”. - That in itself is misleading parliament. The COVID briefing last night is nothing more than a distraction tactic. Follow the right, more respected journos on Twitter and there was no COVID briefing due until the 18th. Sanjid Javid cancelled all interviews yesterday morning as they squirmed to deal with the news. The press secretary person caught laughing in the video resigned. We the fuck would you resign if there was no party? Jacob Rees-Mogg mocking the public saying “the police won’t investigate this in a year” is vile and disrespectful to the British public, suddenly he wasn’t at PMQs yesterday. How many leads is that for the Met Police!?!!!

Once allegation(s) are made it is their job to investigate and to start to gather evidence. For them not to even bother is a dereliction of duty. It is appalling that the Tory’s are investigating themselves, even though “nothing happened”. We all know how that will play out. More grief coming Johnson’s way over the flat refurb. If newspapers have names of all people that attended parties, is there no court order that could lead them to handing it over to the authorities. How much evidence do they want?

Ideally it should be investigated by the police, but perhaps Priti Patel has had something to do with that? Or maybe the fact that they provide the security at no 10 so are probably crapping themselves as they are complicit. What is important here is not what someone like me writes on a football forum, it is that a democratically elected government and PM take the piss out of the electorate and blatantly lie to us. Perhaps you would be better served to turn your anger on the people you voted in.
FarehamSaintJames Posted 10 December, 2021 Share Posted 10 December, 2021 Let’s be honest you couldn’t trust any of this lot in power, they’re all in it for themselves. They took power on the lies of Brexit and they’re making things worse. It’s beyond scandalous. NHS waiting lists record high. Police and other services cut year on year. People need to wake up. How anyone can defend Boris or his cronies is quite moronic. Anyone started a petition to get those who were fined last year to be reimbursed? If these MPs and staff on extremely high salaries don’t have to pay, why should someone who lives on a pittance.
