Token Posted 20 January, 2009 Share Posted 20 January, 2009 No idea who the bloke in the photo is but bumped into Tommy Forecast's dad in a pub after the Man U match and he mentioned a name like that. He said he was the one who had spotted Tommy playing some time ago and was keen to sign Tommy as soon as the new coaching team were in place. TF's dad described De Wit as "some sort of DoF". My friend & I assumed he was referring to Wotte but he had already mentioned his name earlier and he has mainly had to watch his son play in reserve games, we figured he probably did know who was in charge of that team. Unfortunately, he had to fly off as he had the only key to Tommy’s flat and his son wanted to get back in, so couldn’t get any more detail. He did say that Spurs had been very reluctant to lose Tommy.

I must have misheard last night as apparently is is something like: Kim Van De Wiet So do we have a Director of Football that we've not been told about???? Was he at today's meeting???? Did he attend the pub get togethers with Jan and Wotte???

SaintRobbie Posted 20 January, 2009 Share Posted 20 January, 2009 (edited) I want us to build for the future I do not mind if we are relegated because we can regroup . What I do mind is trying to keep in the Championship at all costs without having a solution for the long term. Sacking JP bringing in another manager is only assisting in the short term . Oh god. But John we all want to build for the future. But let's do that in the CCC.... not in League 1. Is it just me or has Lowe's business pragmatism infiltrated even the diehard fans? There is only winning in an elite sports team. There is only fighting. Defeat is not an option. Could you imagine Team GB at the Beijing Olympics with that mentality... we'd have come last. mmmmm...' it's the taking part that matters' will be the next cry from Lowedites (I know you're not one by the way John). Good old left-wing teaching ideas. Let's make it fairer... Let's all not wear team colours as its too uniformal and militaryesque, whilst we're at it. This is where Lowe poison's us... he turns us into sensible businessmen who play safe...well safe in sport = last without injury. WINNING MENTALITY - TOP TO BOTTOM. Something Lowe have never grasped. THAT'S WHAT WE NEED HERE. Lowe/JP can't produce it - SACK THEM NOW. Edited 20 January, 2009 by SaintRobbie

Well he is not registered as an agent looking at the international agents listings? So advisor? He was the guy that sorted the deal for Wotte and Jan

beatlesaint Posted 20 January, 2009 Share Posted 20 January, 2009 This whole situation just gets worse, yet more laughable at the same time. We have a DOF that nobody knows about ? Incredible. How many Dutchmen does it take to screw up a football club ?
