This site reckons so, haven't seen anything official unless I've missed it...

CHERRIES' trip to neighbours Southampton has been moved to a Friday night.

Originally scheduled for September 21, the game will now kick-off at 8pm on September 20 at St Mary's Stadium and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

This fixture last season saw the two sides share the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Dan Gosling and Callum Wilson on target for Eddie Howe's men.

Two more of Cherries' games have also been moved for television.

The home clash against champions Manchester City will now kick-off at 2pm on Sunday, August 25 while Everton will visit Vitality Stadium on Sunday, September 15, also kicking off at 2pm.

All other fixtures in August and September are now likely to stay unchanged.

Surprised. The OB weren't overly pleased having the late kick off a couple of seasons ago, when idiots started kicking off. So a Friday night with so many people boozed up - is that really a good idea?

It’s only little old Bournemouth. The Cherries.

Is it much different to playing any other team on a Friday night?

I'm sure the OB can handle their blue rinse brugade

They will still be dusting off their RoboCop body armour in case one of them has one cream sherry too many! :p

New kick off time suits us just fine for once, got relatives arriving Saturday morning from South Africa now we don’t have to feel guilty about buggering off Saturday afternoon or scrabbling about trying to get extra tickets.

I'm surprised our game vs the victims hasn't been picked for tele.

One of the three or four Liverpool games not on TV next season!
