Mr Dad Posted 26 May, 2019 Posted 26 May, 2019 I'm very proud about the home support for Southampton FC! Ususaly, we can hear the cheers for a goal at St Marys. Yesterday/today, couldn't hear anything in Shirley for the 'Shake That' concert thing! Well done Northam and the other stands!
miserableoldgit Posted 27 May, 2019 Posted 27 May, 2019 Am I the only one confused by this? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Get Gareth Malone in.
Saint Billy Posted 28 May, 2019 Posted 28 May, 2019 Apologies for this thread. Too many bank holiday beers. Very embarassed now! I'm sure most of us have produced a libation fueled post once or twice.
davefoggy Posted 28 May, 2019 Posted 28 May, 2019 Apologies for this thread. Too many bank holiday beers. Very embarassed now! Haha brilliant mate!! We've all done it. Let's see if we can keep this thread going all Summer, could do with a laugh
jasonb Posted 28 May, 2019 Posted 28 May, 2019 I live a stone's throw from the Etihad... Can't usually hear a thing when they have the concerts there. Metallica here in a couple of weeks... I predict even they won't be that loud... Live music just ain't what it used to be... Part of the buzz was feeling it shake your body... Ears ringing for days afterwards! God bless Lemmy
Stud mark of doom Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 How far away can you hear SMS? I’ll get things started - Obelisk Road Woolston (with a good performance, and the wind in the right direction).
red&white56 Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 Can't hear SMS from Bolney (A23/A272 junction), West Sussex!
Faz Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 Locks Heath. Can’t hear SMS, but can hear the cruise ships fireworks. Make of that what you will.
the saint in winchester Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 Winchester. Can't hear anything from SMS, but then we have fireworks like every night - firework capital of the UK is Winchester
Manuel Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 Locks Heath. Can’t hear SMS, but can hear the cruise ships fireworks. Make of that what you will. That's disappointing. You can hear a lion's roar from 6 miles away, if the wind's in the right direction.
Behind Enemy Lines Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 Hythe. You can hear the support after a goal; with the wind in the right direction, and it being a home goal.
Toussaint Posted 29 May, 2019 Posted 29 May, 2019 I've been in the Kingsland during the match and haven't heard any crowd noise.
