We had a Micra driving up and down our road yesterday, it sounded like a broken tank, and you could hear it half a mile away. Edited 9 May, 2022 by badgerx16

Saying that, I have never had my vehicle reg checked whenever I have gone to the tip (at least not that I’ve seen them checking). The appointments are available in 30 minute blocks, best to leave it until 15-20 minutes after the start and there’s usually loads of parking spots available.

The Cat Posted 30 May, 2022 Posted 30 May, 2022 Definitely on board with the dislike of ties. Going to throw parents who hire out posh sports cars for their kids to turn up at their high school prom into the mix. What's that all about?

I'm going to say within the last 10 years but it's ramped up in the last 5. My son has his soon, and while he's not fussed about it there are girls in his year whose parents are buying them £400 dresses and hiring sports cars or limos. It's very bizarre.
