Only downside is you have to have the page open all the time (or at least do on my phone) so it's a massive battery drain.

Could be wrong but I think if you use chrome browser on your phone you can listen to it whilst the phone screen isn't lit up.

Its been really useful for times when the battery has been on the way out. I think if I remember right there will be a notification at the top of the phone with pause/play etc. Just hit the play button and should be able to listen to it with the phone screen being off.

You'll have to use the link on the Saints website to listen to Solent, however there is a delay. So if you're in a pub at anytime, you'll see it come onscreen before you hear it. From experience after a weekend in Plymouth. No idea why BBC changed it.
