Also, the Sydenhams Wessex League trophy will be presented to Sholing after we secured the title with 8 games remaining, winning 28 of our 32 games played this season. (Lee Wort & Dan Mason have scored 100 goals between them this season in all competitions) Universal Stadium is on Portsmouth Road between Sholing & Old Netley (formally VT sportsground). Post Code SO19 9PW Free parking, hot food & refreshments available as well as a bar (sorry, no alcohol allowed pitchside, as per league rules). The Cat Posted 3 April, 2019 Share Posted 3 April, 2019 I've been to loads of Sholing games this season. Recommend that anyone who can gets along. They have some decent players including Brad Targett who scored the league clinching goal against Hamble last week. You never know, his big brother might be there to see them lift the trophy. Hamlet Posted 3 April, 2019 Share Posted 3 April, 2019 Any truth that you will be playing in Wessex Division one next season?
Kingsland Red Posted 3 April, 2019 Share Posted 3 April, 2019 Great to see Lee Wort back at the club, but so sad he never made it to, say the National League, other than a spell at Gosport in Nat League South. A very strong player at youth levels
