LGTL Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 Still can’t see the scabs making automatic, here’s hoping they fluff the play offs again.
Shroppie Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 Scored. 0-1.Finished 0-1. We can catch Newcastle with our game in hand. And have to play them. Don't see them going down, though. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Heisenberg Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 bad set of results for us today. Cardiff, Brighton or us for the drop. Pompey on the charge too. #badday

Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk I don't see any team apart from Huddersfield, Fulham and Cardiff going down. The rest are just jockeying for the prize money.
Lighthouse Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 1-3 FT Bournemouth v Burnley. I'm a bit 'meh' about that one. If anything I think we can catch Bournemouth, in fact I'd say it was more likely than falling behind Cardiff. Anything up to about 12th is still achievable.

Heisenberg Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 Leicester have gone from heading for a relegation scrap to 7th. Funny old game football.
Shroppie Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 I don't see any team apart from Huddersfield, Fulham and Cardiff going down. The rest are just jockeying for the prize money.Next weekend will be important. On today's showing, it's a question of whether Bournemouth can be worse than Brighton. If Cardiff were to beat Burnley (unlikely on today's result, but strange things happen) and we lose to Wolves, things would be tight again. On the other hand, we win and Cardiff and Brighton lose (and Newcastle who are away to a rejuvenated Leicester), we'll almost look safe. I hope we can perform like last night, but there will be more pressure next week. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
waylander Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 Think Burnley's result makes it more likely they will beat Cardiff

John Boy Saint Posted 6 April, 2019 Posted 6 April, 2019 What the do-da have they done to the Wembley pitch (unless it’s my telly box) looks like they have hollow tined it and someone ordered the wrong colour sand to brush into it!
Bad Wolf Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Leicester have gone from heading for a relegation scrap to 7th. Funny old game football. Leicester were never in a relegation scrap.
whelk Posted 7 April, 2019 Author Posted 7 April, 2019 Leicester were never in a relegation scrap. And still there are some who rise to him
Bad Wolf Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 And still there are some who rise to him I don't have enough interest in the people of this forum to remember who's a troll and who isn't. Sorry.
Ultimatt Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Leicester have gone from playing all the teams in a relegation scrap to 7th. Funny old game football. Fixed. Wins over Bournemouth(13th), Burnley(14th), Brighton(16th), Fulham(19th), Huddersfield(20th). Loss to Watford(9th).
Chewy Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Will nobody make it easy for us? No, nobody will make it easy for us, we have to do it ourselves. That's football (and life in general). Not a great result for us yesterday, but if we let Cardiff make up 6points on us between now and season end with our respective fixture lists, we'll deserve to be relegated. I doubt very much it will happen. Let's hope burnleys return to form lasts for at least another week! In fairness, looking at their fixtures they still need the win (or at least draw), could be the last points they get this season!

Burnley will know that beating Cardiff next week will confirm their safety. Huge game for them. Surely, they will have enough to swat Cardiff away

Surely, they will have enough to swat Cardiff away True, burnleys only chance now of getting relegated is having Cardiff overtake them. Avoid defeat and that surely can't happen. Wind and it definitely won't. Unfortunately, the same applied to us a few weeks ago ... Trying my best to forget that one, but just can't, it really was 4ucking awful.

saints-cris Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Not too bothered by yesterday’s result for Burnley. They now have even bigger motivation for next weekend v Cardiff, win and stay up. It’s in our hands, we’ve got the games and as long as Cardiff don’t pick up 6 more points than us, then jobs a gooden.
striker Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Cardiff is a must win for Burnley. The remaining fixtures are all very tough and they could easily go 0-4.
OttawaSaint Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Silva out! Wow, this late in the season, you think they’d have waited until summer. Mind you, with their aspirations and all the money they spend to try and break the top 4, 10th is terrible.
OttawaSaint Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 ET and a few injuries please You got your first wish.
Batman Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Wolves could be in trouble here. They have taken off two of the better players, where as Watford have been on top since Deleoufaeu came on
Batman Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Looked like clear contact to me? it's one of those very soft ones if given against you but clear cut for you
whelk Posted 7 April, 2019 Author Posted 7 April, 2019 Cracking game at Wembley. Yeah so much better than yesterday’s
Shroppie Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 These teams, between them, have lost their last 7 pen shoot-outs. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Shroppie Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 3-2 Watford. Perfect. Dispirits Wolves and gives Watford a final to think about when they play us. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Feel for the Wolves fans. They must be gutted. Seconds from victory and now down 3-2.
Saint Albert Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 good goal again why on earth he didnt start Delofeu came on with a point to prove. The commentators on my feed reckon he was left out because of a lack of effort in a previous game.
whelk Posted 7 April, 2019 Author Posted 7 April, 2019 Delofeu came on with a point to prove. The commentators on my feed reckon he was left out because of a lack of effort in a previous game. On his day he is like Messi
Batman Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Delofeu came on with a point to prove. The commentators on my feed reckon he was left out because of a lack of effort in a previous game. He has been superb. Hopefully, play like Jermaine Wright when we visit them
hackedoff Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Feel for the Wolves fans. They must be gutted. Seconds from victory and now down 3-2. Do they ever "feel" for us losing so many leads ? Doubt it, they have been giving it large lately like they are top six in the making and now they have landed on a snake.
OttawaSaint Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Do they ever "feel" for us losing so many leads ? Doubt it, they have been giving it large lately like they are top six in the making and now they have landed on a snake. Just empathizing I guess.
whelk Posted 7 April, 2019 Author Posted 7 April, 2019 Gomes seems a nice fella so pleased for him. Going to be a pastor after this season said the commentator
Chewy Posted 7 April, 2019 Posted 7 April, 2019 Have to say I feel very sorry for Wolves (purely in the context of that game, think it's good for us next week). Better side throughout, cruising, then a wonder goal from literally nowhere and a penalty as soft (but still correct) as you'd like deep in injury time. If I was them I'd be absolutely gutted.
