jawillwill Posted 12 March, 2019 Share Posted 12 March, 2019 I'm sure someone will be along to tell me that is the same every year that we get knocked out of the FA Cup early, but when was the last time we had such a long gap between games in the middle of the season? I don't remember it happening often. Have we ever had longer?
OttawaSaint Posted 12 March, 2019 Share Posted 12 March, 2019 The season we went to the League Cup final had a big break and a huge break between consecutive home games. Can’t remember all the details. I’m sure someone will though.
Lighthouse Posted 12 March, 2019 Share Posted 12 March, 2019 The season we went to the League Cup final had a big break and a huge break between consecutive home games. Can’t remember all the details. I’m sure someone will though. Had to check but we didn't play a home game between 4th Feb and 1st April. There was also no Prem game between 11th Feb and 4th March (with the cup final in the middle somewhere).
Kenilworthy Posted 12 March, 2019 Share Posted 12 March, 2019 Not such a long gap, but at the end of 1980/81 we had an 18 day gap between losing at Coventry on April 25th and winning at Ipswich on May 13.
Colinjb Posted 12 March, 2019 Share Posted 12 March, 2019 Remembering us having a mid-season friendly against Troyes on a friday night back in 2001. Was that in a similar scenario?
