ALWAYS_SFC Posted 9 March, 2019 Posted 9 March, 2019 West Brom target Slavisa Jokanovic and David Wagner after controversial Darren Moore sacking: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/03/09/darren-moore-sacked-west-brom-draw-bottom-side-ipswich/ It will be Silva as championship is his level and he will be out of Everton soon
CB Fry Posted 9 March, 2019 Posted 9 March, 2019 Looks harsh but WBA haven't won at home since Boxing day and they are clearly on the slide. Moore was never more than a glorified caretaker, a Steve Wigley type figure who got a bit of feel good factor and was lucky that it carried on into the early weeks of the new season. The longer he was in charge, the worse they got as he's just not got the knowledge/skills to take that kind of job on. Pretty laughable that some on this forum were drooling over him as the man to rejuvenate Saints. However, I think he should have been given the opportunity to take them to the play offs. It's a lottery and maybe they'd have snuck up. They'd better have a replacement planned and in otherwise it could backfire.
Tamesaint Posted 9 March, 2019 Posted 9 March, 2019 Pickford has really gone off the boil since the world cup. There is surely no way that he is still England's No. 1. He was all at sea today and was fortunate to stay on the pitch after taking out Rondon. Everton as a whole were atrocious. Losing to Newcastle after taking a 2 goal lead must surely put more pressure on Silva
DT Posted 9 March, 2019 Posted 9 March, 2019 Burnley - Liverpool tomorrow is a tough one. I want Burnley to lose, but don’t want Liverpool to win either.. I want Liverpool to win tomorrow and then fluff the rest of the season. Simples Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dark Munster Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 I want Liverpool to win tomorrow and then fluff the rest of the season. Simples Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Except when they play Cardiff.
itchen Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 I want Liverpool to win tomorrow and then fluff the rest of the season. Simples Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote I think I agree. Lots of other teams left for Liverpool to lose to.

Home record recently poor but quite a no of away wins By that logic derby should sack lampard for being lower in the table with even less management experience.

That said, If you knew anything about Derby then you'd know that Mel Morris suffers no fools and is very quick to sack managers who, on the surface, are doing perfectly well. He likely would have binned the likes of Moore in no time. Lampard has got star power which counts for something but if they finish out of the top 6 then Derby sacking him would be entirely consistent with his previous decisions.
whelk Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 Cardiff xG over 4 yesterday. I’d written off this useless bastards but maybe too soon as didn’t seem lucky at all to beat West Ham. Brighton should have had Knockaert sent off in first min. Newcastle offside goal but also quite funny as against Everton
itchen Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 Oh, and as Charlton are my "other team", this has been a brilliant weekend.

LGTL Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 Birmingham fan just run on the pitch and lumped Grealish around the head. Unbelievable!

Crab Lungs Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 Yeah and crowd applauding the cnt off. Dock them 10 points Ugh.... Has anyone ever had anything good to say about Birmingham fans?
Winnersaint Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 They were a vile bunch in the 70s too. Anyone else remember Hill Lane on 23/03/74?
Jonnyboy Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 The bottom six is how it should be according to current goal difference.
shurlock Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 (edited) LOL, Grealish scores. Deserved. Brum-Villa is one of my favourite derbies. Did you see the steward get taken away too https://mobile.twitter.com/fitbatweets/status/1104738169281495041 Edited 10 March, 2019 by shurlock
Saint Albert Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 3-2 now. Burnley with a little injury time surge. Now Mané makes it 4-2.
doddisalegend Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 (edited) wolves 24% possession, 1 shot all game (as opposed to Chelsea's 18) winning 1 nil...….. jammy bastards Edited 10 March, 2019 by doddisalegend
Sheaf Saint Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 wolves 24% possession, 1 shot all game (as opposed to Chelsea's 18) winning 1 nil...….. jammy bastards And then do a Saints special and concede a 93rd minute equaliser.
Sheaf Saint Posted 10 March, 2019 Posted 10 March, 2019 The bottom six is how it should be according to current goal difference. Not quite. On GD Brighton should be above Bournemouth.
whelk Posted 11 March, 2019 Posted 11 March, 2019 LOL, Grealish scores. Deserved. More evidence of what scum they have in;their support Tweet now deleted mocking Jack Grealish’s brother who died and how happy they are about it.
Micky Posted 11 March, 2019 Posted 11 March, 2019 Jesus Christ. How low can some of these scrum get. I'm glad I can't be assed to bother with 'social' media normally, and when I see crap like this, I know I'm not missing out. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
adrian lord Posted 11 March, 2019 Posted 11 March, 2019 Dear oh dear. No-one minds like minded hoolies fighting it out, but this stuff is cowardly.

OttawaSaint Posted 13 March, 2019 Posted 13 March, 2019 Great pen https://twitter.com/lukebidder/status/1105932135523893248/video/1 That’s probably the worst penalty I’ve ever seen. Wow!
skintsaint Posted 14 March, 2019 Posted 14 March, 2019 Great pen https://twitter.com/lukebidder/status/1105932135523893248/video/1 VAR would have had that retaken sparing his blushes...
Lighthouse Posted 14 March, 2019 Posted 14 March, 2019 That’s probably the worst penalty I’ve ever seen. Wow! I think that Henry/Pires one from a few years ago comes close. The worst part was when they completely stuffed it up the ref let them take it again.
mrfahaji Posted 14 March, 2019 Posted 14 March, 2019 I think that Henry/Pires one from a few years ago comes close. The worst part was when they completely stuffed it up the ref let them take it again. Are you sure? I could be mistaken but I thought play continued as normal. Edit: Just checked, by the looks of it the referee incorrectly stopped play instead of allowing Man City to play one, but he awarded a free kick to City rather than allowing Arsenal to retake it.
