Chewy Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Oh, and id definitely start with Austin. Think they'll sit deep so his ability to score and inability to run would suit this better. Then when Cardiff are (hopefully) chasing the game, introducing long against tired legs and a pushed up defence would be a good thing. His inability to score and ability to run would suit this phase of the game much better ...

Victor Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 This, the whole thing is mawkish nonsense This is not 'mawkish nonsense' and is very different from the outpouring of "grief" for such as Diana. I couldn't understand that and am against minute's silences/applause at football matches for anyone other than someone closely associated with that (or the visiting) club. However, this is a very different situation. Very few of us had even heard of Sala but it is a very sad human story - and a 'football' story; the unnecessary nature of it, the fact he delayed so he could say goodbye to his team mates, the ending of the expectations of the Cardiff fans, Sala's frightening experience and lonely death are all surely things that we can relate to and be affected by. I certainly was.

I certainly was. I guess the truth is that these things affect people in different ways. Personally, I couldn't give a toss about the bloke. I'm not really sure I understand the distinction you're trying to draw between a Princess you've never met and a footballer you've never met, but each to his own.
Cabbage_Face Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Lets hope Valery can cope better this time.
Toadhall Saint Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Would have had Gallagher in place of long but hey what do I know
saintwbu Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Armstrong injured? A bit light on attacking options as we know but great to see Bertrand back
mrfahaji Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Armstrong injured? Wondered the same, think we’ll miss him. Especially with Long up front, need more of a goal threat.
benjii Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Don't really like that team. Wish Armstrong was in there. Not sure we have many other options though. Lots of emphasis on JWP linking midfield and attack. Don't want to see a flat midfield and two isolated forwards like we did against Palace.
niceandfriendly Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Very harsh on Targett No room for sentimentality in football though. Targett has been playing alright but Berty is far, far superior. Can't leave him out if he's fit.
benjii Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Very harsh on Targett Why? He's typically one of our worst players and Bertrand is a lot better.
10i Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Hopefully Valery will make it to HT so we can make that substitution...
TWar Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 That is an incredibly weak bench. Very worrying, nice to see Bertrand back though.

Batman Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Just saying on the stream how it was incredible the way Cardiff managed to field a team capable of playing last weekend, let alone get the victory
SaintZamboni Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Reckon today is the day for Elyounoussi to show something. On for JWP and create something at long last.
st alex Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 Anyone got a Stream? I can't seam to understand how to effectively search reddit.

danjosaint Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 I normally use the ripple stream which is normally perfect but not found one for 2wks
NewYorkSaint Posted 9 February, 2019 Posted 9 February, 2019 We'll do this. Great midfield. Redmond to bamboozle. JWP scores again! Saints 3-0
