BotleySaint Posted 22 February, 2019 Posted 22 February, 2019 Great results, lifts a bit of pressure off us for Sunday now. Whilst also making it even more shocking that we lost twice to a team as bad as Cardiff.
Lighthouse Posted 22 February, 2019 Posted 22 February, 2019 How on Earth did we lose to that absolutely useless pile of steaming sh*te.
SuperSAINT Posted 22 February, 2019 Posted 22 February, 2019 How on Earth did we lose to that absolutely useless pile of steaming sh*te. Twice....
Dark Munster Posted 22 February, 2019 Posted 22 February, 2019 Ifs and buts but the 6 points lost to Cardiff is so fcking annoying. We’d be out of sight and bottom 3 all sorted if we’d have won both even a couple if draws and would be comfortable True dat. Although I'll see your "annoying" and raise you an "infuriating."
benjii Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 How on Earth did we lose to that absolutely useless pile of steaming sh*te. Because we've got defenders who rarely go 90 minutes without gifting goals and we have Long and Austin upfront.
Batman Posted 23 February, 2019 Author Posted 23 February, 2019 How on Earth did we lose to that absolutely useless pile of steaming sh*te. Because we are not as good as them
whelk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Because we are not as good as them What Cardiff would you want in the Saints team?
tajjuk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Well the important thing is they both lost, so Arsenal is a free hit, get anything from the game and its a bonus, but lose and we are no worse off but need to make sure we beat Fulham which will hopefully overtake Cardiff. You'd think a 5-1 smashing at home might dent Cardiff for their next game.
Pamplemousse Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Because we are not as good as them Even under Mark Hughes we didn't lose 5-1 at home to Watford...
Batman Posted 23 February, 2019 Author Posted 23 February, 2019 Even under Mark Hughes we didn't lose 5-1 at home to Watford... Yet, they remain above us. Beaten us twice also
Lets B Avenue Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Simon Hooper must be a Watford fan. He was the ref that disallowed our goal here in November, because he assumed it had hit Yoshida.

You'd think a 5-1 smashing at home might dent Cardiff for their next game. And then you see they have Everton at home. Even we beat them at home.
Pamplemousse Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Yet, they remain above us. Beaten us twice also They won't be come the end of the season
DT Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Bloody spurs again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DT Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 2-1 Burnley. Spurs have been ****e. Never seen Ericsson play so badly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hypochondriac Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Burnley were never getting relegated. 2 of 6 now if we are to assume that Huddersfield are down and Fulham are just about able to stay up.
whelk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 One hope is that league being over and we play them after the Dortmund game. Expect they won’t choke against us
DT Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 That's them safe then. And Poch off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saints foreva Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 FT Notice how the Burnley defence didn't **** themselves at the last minute crosses from Spurs...
DT Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 FT Notice how the Burnley defence didn't **** themselves at the last minute crosses from Spurs... Yup. They are solid. We haven't been for years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Burnley were never getting relegated. 2 of 6 now if we are to assume that Huddersfield are down and Fulham are just about able to stay up. 1 from 5. No way Fulham are getting out of this, they can’t defend to save their lives.
whelk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Relax boys it’s Cardiff to join the other two
whelk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Yup. They are solid. We haven't been for years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Teams change. They weren’t ‘solid’ when they conceded 5 at home to Everton.
Dr. Kucho Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Relax boys it’s Cardiff to join the other two I think Brighton might be going down, they have been poor for ages.
DT Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Teams change. They weren’t ‘solid’ when they conceded 5 at home to Everton. Um. But they are now. When it matters. They all put themselves around a bit, and that will be enough, along with goal scorers and decent defence and organisation. We're going to have to hope that Brighton go on a really bad run or Cardiff do.
IFHP Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 1 from 5. No way Fulham are getting out of this, they can’t defend to save their lives. Nor can we. Which as Ralph Hasenhüttl said in his interview after the Cardiff game, we cant keeping needing to score 2 or 3 goals just to win a game.
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Nor can we. Which as Ralph Hasenhüttl said in his interview after the Cardiff game, we cant keeping needing to score 2 or 3 goals just to win a game. We aren’t great but Fulham are on another level. We’re at least capabale of picking up points here and there, even at Stamford Bridge. Fulham are hopeless at the back, as soon as Babel scored I thought, “yeah, they’ll still be losing by HT.”
DT Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Che Adams scores. Sigh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

whelk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Huddersfield down to 10 men. Expect a few on here are worried Huddersfield may catch us
Saints foreva Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Newcastle have missed some great chances, should really be one or two ahead.
Dusic Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Its between Saints and Cardiff for the third spot. Yes other teams are struggling as well but realistically hard to look past us or them. Doubly annoying they have taken 25% of their points against us.

OttawaSaint Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 1-0 magpies. Wish we had a player like Rondon.
obelisk Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 Hard to believe that it comes down to a pub discussion about whether Burnley are a more solid looking outfit than Saints. We go into the game tomorrow in the bottom three and that's where we'll stay - probably.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 1-0 magpies. Wish we had a player like Rondon. He's on loan at Newcastle isn't he? And we got Ings.
IOWSaintDaz Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 all the results are going against us today so far, who would of believed title chasing Spurs losing at Burnley given there form in the lead up to the match after the Dortmund game and with Kane back too, looks like we'll need a miracle to survive this season, especially after we get whopped at the Emirates tomorrow
CB Fry Posted 23 February, 2019 Posted 23 February, 2019 I wonder what it would be like to play a relegation struggler at home and just register a straightforward comfortable win.
