Heisenberg Posted 15 February, 2020 Posted 15 February, 2020 LiVARpool. I could see the push in real time on a crappy stream - he's pushed him under the ball. VAR, of course, thinks differently. Blatant push. They have got away with so much this season
Heisenberg Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Villa 1-0 Spurs Get in 1-1! Against run of play too.
Micky Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Dele's finishing is as bad as Longs...! Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
Micky Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Spurs squandered lots of chances, only one winner in this now. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

OttawaSaint Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 That full back would get absolutely slayed on here. Gotta feel for Villa. Spurs jammy as usual.
DT Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Villa might be even more up for it now, of course... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint-Reece Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Villa’s defence is just as dodgy as ours
trousers Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Annoying result. Creates a 9 point gap between us and 5th

Lighthouse Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Won the cricket too, not a bad 10 minutes that.
whelk Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Won the cricket too, not a bad 10 minutes that. Cricket was superb . Morgan got to 50 off 21 balls without hitting any fours. They seem to have missed Storm Dennis down there too
Lighthouse Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Cricket was superb . Morgan got to 50 off 21 balls without hitting any fours. They seem to have missed Storm Dennis down there too Superb batting from both teams. 222 looked a decent target but the last two overs were fairly comfortable.
whelk Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Superb batting from both teams. 222 looked a decent target but the last two overs were fairly comfortable. I remember when 50 over games could be won by scoring 223. The level of hitting these player have taken the game to is incredible. And makes for such better viewing. Also remember the cynics and purists poo-pooing the T20 format.

It's taken cricket in a completely different direction and makes it a far better spectator sport.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Where are all the Arsenal fans? In the concourse putting on insurance bets
SKD Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Yep. 250+ will be the T20 norm shortly. It's taken cricket in a completely different direction and makes it a far better spectator sport. Flat wickets in T20 / ODI also help. It’s a batsman’s game these days, but for the average spectator that’s how it should be. Interesting impact it’s had on test matches as well with the large % now finishing in 4 days.

SKD Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Newcastle have a pretty exciting team. With a few additions they could do alright next year.

Lets B Avenue Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Just watching the EFL goals from yesterday and recognised one of the Luton staff celebrating when they had beaten Middlesbrough Inigo Idiakez. 1st team coach. He's still got his mullett.
Matthew Le God Posted 16 February, 2020 Posted 16 February, 2020 Another Arsenal goal and we go up to joint 12th It is not joint 12th... Saints are 12th. No joint about it, Saints are higher due to scoring more goals so they aren't joint.
rooney Posted 17 February, 2020 Posted 17 February, 2020 We lose on the weekend and go higher in the league. Magic.
bpsaint Posted 17 February, 2020 Posted 17 February, 2020 More VAR inconsistency tonight as Harry Maguire escapes a red card for kicking out. The technology is great but **** me it’s meant to stop these debates.
Shroppie Posted 17 February, 2020 Posted 17 February, 2020 And again. Chelsea goal ruled out for a push, but Chelsea player was first pushed by Fred. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk I agree, you could see the Chelsea player was pushed and just put his hands out to stop himself. How can that not be seen by a video ref? Just weird

John Boy Saint Posted 17 February, 2020 Posted 17 February, 2020 Watching this Chelsea game Football is becoming a farce - VAR is becoming as inconsistent as the the referees were before it came in, now the player who should have been sent off for a Son on Ruduger type challenge scores a goal!

Shroppie Posted 17 February, 2020 Posted 17 February, 2020 But, makes it a little funnier seeing the ‘Frank Lampards’ chelsea getting beaten (again)....True. But when you think back to Bertrand's red against Leicester, it's ridiculous that Maguire is deemed by VAR to be innocent of violent conduct. Stays on and scores. VAR is being implemented so badly and inconsistently it's making things worse, not better. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
