Shandy_Top_89 Posted 28 January, 2020 Posted 28 January, 2020 Bad news all around really. Similar to Watford - Wolves in the FA Cup last year in that a team capable of beating Man City capitulated to cannon fodder. Then in the off chance Villa actually win then that is a Europa League spot taken. /Misery.
Give it to Ron Posted 29 January, 2020 Posted 29 January, 2020 Liverpool one up penalty Salah Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
IOWSaintDaz Posted 29 January, 2020 Posted 29 January, 2020 2-0 West Ham for the drop this season me thinks along with Bompey
Lighthouse Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 Glenn Johnson on Soccer Saturday. We must never forget he stole a toilet seat from B&Q when he was at Pompey.
Batman Posted 1 February, 2020 Author Posted 1 February, 2020 Leicester equalise against chelsea, 1-1 Neither side look much cop today
adrian lord Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 Leicester 2-1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lighthouse Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 Probably not helping matters but if we’d hung on against Wolves and Arsenal we’d be 4 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
CB Fry Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 Everton did us a favor. WHU blew it [emoji38] Weak. 3.2/10.
Give it to Ron Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 Almost perfect other results now we need to kick on again v Burnley which will be tough as we don’t usually cope Wood and Barnes. Blue line under today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heisenberg Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 Man City the Liverpool next for WHU too. Ouch
Lighthouse Posted 1 February, 2020 Posted 1 February, 2020 It's not half looking grim for the Hammers after that. There will be massive pressure on them for our game, looking likely to be their only win in the next 8 if they pull it off.

Would love them to go down.
Batman Posted 2 February, 2020 Author Posted 2 February, 2020 (edited) Although I think they will be safe with games to spare. It would be hilarious if West Ham went down. I think it will be... Norwich - Almost certain Brighton Watford Could easily swap Brighton and Watford for Villa and Bournemouth. Bournemouth have some good players, probably enough to scrape it. Villa clearly have it in them to win a few (league cup final and all that) and have Grealish, who is a fantastic player. however, west ham next bundle of games are interesting.... Man City - A Liverpool - A Saints - H Arsenal - A Wolves - H Spurs - A Chelsea - H However, their run-in is against teams all around them, mostly. Just can't see West Ham going down! I have been wrong before - Edited 2 February, 2020 by Batman
Lighthouse Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 Decent result for us at Turf Moor, neither team pulling away from us.
Give it to Ron Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 How did Jayrod miss that chance??? We have to stop crosses coming in that’s Burnley threat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
trousers Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 VAR calls back play after 2 minutes of a penalty originally not being given.... #spursvmancity
Batman Posted 2 February, 2020 Author Posted 2 February, 2020 I am a VAR fan, but the 2 mins passing before giving city the penalty was a joke. I know the rules are to wait for a break in play.... which is daft.
trousers Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 Our favourite ref Kevin Friend is on VAR duty this afternoon
Shroppie Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 Mayhem. Penalty saved but Lloris looks like he's given away another. Not given though looked pretty clear. Kevin Friend on VAR didn't give it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
tajjuk Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 Man City should be winning and that looks like a penalty to me on Sterling, Lloris doesn't get the ball and there is contact, this is the problem with all the inconsistency if players stay on their feet they don't get pens so they go down easily when there is and then it looks weird.
Batman Posted 2 February, 2020 Author Posted 2 February, 2020 Why cant the lino's spot it when the keeper is off his line before the penalty is taken. that should be bread and butter for them
Micky Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 Stupid to get a red there. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Batman Posted 2 February, 2020 Author Posted 2 February, 2020 More to the point, why can't VAR? not within VAR remit, apparently
Micky Posted 2 February, 2020 Posted 2 February, 2020 not within VAR remit, apparently Really, seems a strange one, would've thought that and encroachment would've been nailed on VAR responsibilities. 2 nil, game over, City have blown it after being well on top.
