Batman Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Wrong. Cedric was truly dreadful, Championship standard at best. that is why he is at Inter Milan
Cabbage_Face Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Remember when Zaha wouldn't be a problem and our squad was more than good enough to comfortably keep us up without the need for any reinforcements? Good times. Sent from my F3311 using Tapatalk Zaha is a problem to Liverpool, get a grip. Zaha is a very talented footballer, if we had him no doubt our fans would boo him off the pitch for giving the ball away once. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SaintAndy14 Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 A defeat here might just force RH/the board into a couple of signings tomorrow. Looks a very risky strategy right now to count on the current squad to definitely stay up and then strengthen in the summer.
NewYorkSaint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 I don't think we've played badly. I just think Palace have played better.
mrfahaji Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Wan-Bissaka has been excellent. Yep, very impressive.
St Marco Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Will Austin if he stays then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Nope, he will remain Austin. Not the best striker in the world. But someone who can score goals now and then and useful to a team 4th to bottom of the league. Which we are.
bangkoksaint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 One good thing though.............we can’t be that bad second half
Bewildered Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Oof, can't say anybody has played well so far.
SuperSAINT Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 One good thing though.............we can’t be that bad second half Worst thing is that Palace are made for the counter attack.
St Chalet Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Wrong. Cedric was truly dreadful, Championship standard at best. He may not be Top 6, but he was => our standard.
Pamplemousse Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 A little tweak in formation and we will win this in the second half. Its not the players. We have gone 3142 And its not working. COYR. Fair assessment.
Micky Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 But it doesn’t matter we are more than good enough to stay upProbably one of the fallacies that has been toted on here by quite a few. We'd do well to remember that nobody is too good to go down. Not sure we have anywhere near enough experience if the going gets tough. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
niceandfriendly Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 On the plus side though, my cuppa PG tips is really hitting the spot.
doddisalegend Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Worst performance under Hussenthal so far - really, really surprised. Would have expected a much different display....can't think of a single player that is looking good. Romeu and Hojberg rash in the tackle, giving the ball away under pressure. Don;t think Valery and Targett have been bad at all - midfield has been utterly dreadful.Yeah the 10 day break to prepare doesn't seem to have been good for us. Problem is the squad doesn't have any quality in depth at the moment to make many changes. Need Bertrand and Lemina back a signing or two would be nice but that is looking increasingly unlikely. Valery ( or god forbid Ramsey) and Targett for the rest of the season is worrying. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Fair assessment. hope so, you said we were definitely winning. I know you are wrong a lot, please not tonight
IOWSaintDaz Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 only reason we got rid of the players we had like Cedric (who is a quality RB) is to free up the cash for wages and transfers, as the owner will not put any money in, that quality at RB is especially a worry to the end of the season if not replaced as Valery although showing signs of promise is not at the same standard as the departed one and a bit unfair on him to burden him with such a responsibility, also if Charlie goes too he is a match winner if used correctly off the bench etc and will get you a vital goal when it counts, can't see us investing in replacements before the summer and by then it may be too late as we may be down already.
Sheaf Saint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Worst performance under Hussenthal so far Disagree. West Ham was far worse.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 A defeat here might just force RH/the board into a couple of signings tomorrow. Looks a very risky strategy right now to count on the current squad to definitely stay up and then strengthen in the summer. Hilarious. Thank f**k you are nowhere near the decision making at the club. dry those sheets and get a grip man!
niceandfriendly Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Oof, can't say anybody has played well so far. This is the most surprising thing. You could tell early on that the entire team was off the pace. Quite odd how it works out like that, where it's not just one or two players playing poorly but every single one. Coming off the back of a decent run of results make it even more surprising. Come on boys step it up please
Cabbage_Face Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Ralph playing a blinder here, best way to get signings is play terrible. Top bloke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heisenberg Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Some good news - Liverpool 1-1 AFCB 1 Chelsea 0 too
Sheaf Saint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Sme good news - Liverpool 1-1 Why is that good news? In what possible way does the result of that game affect us?
Cabbage_Face Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Austin would’ve buried that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Edmonton Saint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 McCarthy been awful. Flapped at every thing
Batman Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Bournemouth beating Chelsea their usual xmas slump is over it seems
doddisalegend Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 What's happened to McCarthy seems to have had an attack of Forsteritis.. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Crab Lungs Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Oh great. Loads of pillocks going to be calling for Gunn again soon.
Jonnyboy Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 What's happened to Redmond? He's been awesome recently.
Cabbage_Face Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 What's happened to McCarthy seems to have had an attack of Forsteritis.. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk He made one mistake a while back so everyone highlights everything bad he does rather than all the positive he does. That’s all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sheaf Saint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 What's happened to Redmond? He's been awesome recently. No idea, but I've hardly heard him mentioned by the taters so far. Not been in the game at all.
Batman Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 At least Gao is there. Witnessing the 'passion' that he loves
SaintAndy14 Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Hilarious. Thank f**k you are nowhere near the decision making at the club. dry those sheets and get a grip man! Bit OTT, Plumstead. All I was saying is that a poor performance/result might force them into a signing or two with all the departures we're experiencing - didn't say I thought that was the right way to go. You think the current squad will comfortably keep us up?
Mr X Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 we look like the game is already over we don't look like scoring at all

Batman Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Valery is dreadful madness that he is our No.2
Saints foreva Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Fullbacks have both been very poor attacking wise. Targett seems scared.
Dalek2003 Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Our league position is pretty representative of the quality of the team. I said before the start of the season we would finish 16th. So far, I am closer in my prediction than anyone else.
Plastic Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Valery is dreadful madness that he is our No.2 Disagree, Valery working hard and getting no support.
Useful Idiot Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Need to change the shape. I think we need to shift to 3-4-3. Also this commentary team are a pair of ****s.
Jonnyboy Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 we look like the game is already over we don't look like scoring at all Yes, we look really boring. Really surprised.
BotleySaint Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 we look like the game is already over we don't look like scoring at all Basically yes. Not showing anything to suggest we are going to score. More likely another Palace goal on the break.
Batman Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Fullbacks have both been very poor attacking wise. Targett seems scared. scared of what?
doddisalegend Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Palace's RB **** Bazooka or what ever he is called has Targett so deep in his pocket it's going to take Matty a week to crawl out. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
Heisenberg Posted 30 January, 2019 Posted 30 January, 2019 Valery is dreadful madness that he is our No.2 Hes young and hes raw. (Not dreadful) Weve heaped a whole pile of pressure on him by installing him as no.1 RB so quickly
