Remember when Zaha wouldn't be a problem and our squad was more than good enough to comfortably keep us up without the need for any reinforcements?

Good times.

Zaha is a problem to Liverpool, get a grip. Zaha is a very talented footballer, if we had him no doubt our fans would boo him off the pitch for giving the ball away once.

A defeat here might just force RH/the board into a couple of signings tomorrow. Looks a very risky strategy right now to count on the current squad to definitely stay up and then strengthen in the summer.

Will Austin if he stays then?

Nope, he will remain Austin. Not the best striker in the world. But someone who can score goals now and then and useful to a team 4th to bottom of the league. Which we are.

But it doesn’t matter we are more than good enough to stay up
Probably one of the fallacies that has been toted on here by quite a few. We'd do well to remember that nobody is too good to go down. Not sure we have anywhere near enough experience if the going gets tough.

Worst performance under Hussenthal so far - really, really surprised. Would have expected a much different display....can't think of a single player that is looking good.

Romeu and Hojberg rash in the tackle, giving the ball away under pressure.

Don;t think Valery and Targett have been bad at all - midfield has been utterly dreadful.

Yeah the 10 day break to prepare doesn't seem to have been good for us. Problem is the squad doesn't have any quality in depth at the moment to make many changes.

Need Bertrand and Lemina back a signing or two would be nice but that is looking increasingly unlikely. Valery ( or god forbid Ramsey) and Targett for the rest of the season is worrying.

only reason we got rid of the players we had like Cedric (who is a quality RB) is to free up the cash for wages and transfers, as the owner will not put any money in, that quality at RB is especially a worry to the end of the season if not replaced as Valery although showing signs of promise is not at the same standard as the departed one and a bit unfair on him to burden him with such a responsibility, also if Charlie goes too he is a match winner if used correctly off the bench etc and will get you a vital goal when it counts, can't see us investing in replacements before the summer and by then it may be too late as we may be down already.

Hilarious.

Thank f**k you are nowhere near the decision making at the club.

dry those sheets and get a grip man!

Oof, can't say anybody has played well so far.

This is the most surprising thing. You could tell early on that the entire team was off the pace. Quite odd how it works out like that, where it's not just one or two players playing poorly but every single one. Coming off the back of a decent run of results make it even more surprising.

Come on boys step it up please

What's happened to McCarthy seems to have had an attack of Forsteritis..

He made one mistake a while back so everyone highlights everything bad he does rather than all the positive he does. That’s all

Bit OTT, Plumstead. All I was saying is that a poor performance/result might force them into a signing or two with all the departures we're experiencing - didn't say I thought that was the right way to go.

You think the current squad will comfortably keep us up?

Can I ask where these comments were after beating Leicester and Everton?

Our league position is pretty representative of the quality of the team.

I said before the start of the season we would finish 16th. So far, I am closer in my prediction than anyone else.

we look like the game is already over we don't look like scoring at all

Basically yes. Not showing anything to suggest we are going to score.

More likely another Palace goal on the break.

Valery is dreadful

madness that he is our No.2

Hes young and hes raw. (Not dreadful)

Weve heaped a whole pile of pressure on him by installing him as no.1 RB so quickly

I hope you are right. I said we'd get relegated.
